What Is it?

Agito Tower is the last challenge of the game. The enemies here are at lvl 128. They can one hit K.O your must powerful cadet with a single hit, even at lvl99.

You would need at least complete the game 3 times to make this area as you will pretty much have the characters ultima weapon and powerful items.

You can also make this area at the first playthrough, but it will be a hard task.
This Guide will help you to finish this room at whatever playthough you are in.

The area is too much time consuming depending of the cadet(s) you use and their items, but the game allows you to save it at each after completed floor.

Completing the tower gives you the Agito Insignia, the best in game item.
It gives you 4X EXP, enemies deal half of their damage, all negative status immune (except for shock), weather immune, protect, freecast, trance, aura, quick...
Only one per Playthough.
Completing the tower also gives you an item before the last room for a request.

You can complete the tower with any cadet, single or in a trio, however, I'd recommend the ones I believe that are good for that floor. Try to use one cadet (the one you feel comfortable of) as you will eventually lose the others during the process. All cadets can finish the rooms, but there will always be one that does better than the others in a certain floor, it´s up to you use him or not or keep with the same. In my case I used Deuce at all the times alone.

How do I go there?
To get to the tower, you will need the Setzer at the Silent key, you can make it at the first play of the game.

Once you get it, go to the Eibon region with it, there is a giant estrutural monument at the water, all you need is go straight forward to it and hit enter.

What do I need?
Now, this is the worst part, as the enemies are all lvl 128, they can simply breathe at your cadets lvl99 and they will all die.
To start with, you can make it at lower levels yes, but you will need some grinding and good items.

Here are the items and magics that I recommend you to use if you are willing to try the tower.

Reraise, Anima Lantern, Phoenix Pinion
Yes, you will need lots of those. Reraise can be obtained by amassing 10,000SPP and I find it a must for this as you will die a lot.

Advise Make more than 10k SP and you SP units once of twice to avoid being demoted and lose reraise skills, and DO NOT go for SP king or you can be in trouble with Reraise II high stats.

Anima Lantern you will need to grind some tonberries for it, or use the ones at the first floor of the tower or at the last stage of the game.

Phoenix Pinion are special items that you earn prior making a rank S in missions, especially the second one (Hope you did not use it at the Operation MA demolition solo).

Adamant Shell
You can find it at the final room of the ultima ground zero (after the black tortoise cave), it gives you 50% more HP and 50 defense. Tho, it´s RNG (50%). Or you can earn it by making the Reclamation of Eibon at Finis mode.

Protect
Now, this is something you really need to have, it cuts half of the damage done from them (but it does not save you from 1 hit K.O either), you will need an item for it. One is the SP Robes that gives you +50% HP/MP and auto-protect status. You can have it by amassing 30,000SPP, or the Reed Cloak That can be avaible at the SP shop once you complete Operation dragon slayer at Agito mode. I Heavily recomend you go for reed cloak, as you may lose your SP robes due to many deaths.

Defense Enhancer
If you get Reed cloak and Adamnt shell and lvl99 you may be able to do the tower. Generally if you manage to survive one hit from a Tonberry's knife, you´re more than capable of going for the challenge.
However, if you don´t survive to a single hit or you still thing you need more defense against them, you can grind some Def enhancers. At the entrance of Bethenel Cave, you will find a cadet with a frog, she will give a DEF enhancer for 40 smalt phantomas.
You can grind this phantomas pretty easy. Just go for some lvl 50 enemies like behemoths (or set the game mode for agito) and use ice skills like Blizzard BOM on them and you will have plenty of it, especially if you go for the Escaping the Capital Empire where you can also grind HP enhancers back wagon of the train.
Also, if you have lots of Gil, you can buy those smalt phantomas with the same girl at the the Valley of the Monsters for 3000 Gil each.

5th, 4th and 3rd grade weapons
The 3rd tier weapons (the ones that gives you double XP as bonus) are the better here. You will need 300 killsights with your cadet of choice to get the 3rd tier weapon at SP shop for 2,500SP.
The 4th and 5th are basically the same, but with less killsights to score or just by defetaing 700 enemies.
The Reason behind it is that the cadets 2nd tier are only unlockable after you beat the game and then you need to complete some missions at Finis mode to obatin it for 66000 Gil at the armory shop and it´s not worth the price/time.
Ultimas weapons require you to finish the game for the second time and fight the eight arms Gilgamesh, although, he will pick a random cadet to duel against him and if you lose, you lose the weapon you had equipped.

Optional: SP Crystal and Ultima

If you want to get this at the easy (but not so easy) way, amass 120,000SPP and get the SP crystal which gives you pretty much the same status of the agito insgnia (except the 4x XP) and the ultima skill that deals massive damage, however, you will need rare phantomas like lavender and violet phantoma to level up this skill. You still can be demoted and lose SP Crystal by the way.

Note:
There is a hidden kill counter at the left of your screen, it pops up when you defeat enemies in multiples of 5 (i.e: Defeated 5 enemies; Defeated 10 enemies). So you know how many left are there.

First Floor: 100x Tonberries.
Recommended cadets: Deuce, Cinque.

Pretty much the hardest and the shortest room of the tower.
Again, if you manage to survive one hit from them, you are able to do the enitre tower. Tonberries deals the most damage.
To start off, just run in circles through the area and avoid getting in contact with the lamp that some of them throws at you (inflicts burn and can 1 hit K.O), once they finish that, the monsters will stand still at their position, perfect time for an attack. However, while other are throwing lamps at you, the other half are running at you to deal a massive knife attack that deals have damage, but it´s slow and you can dodge it.
After a time, some will lit a purple lamp, when this happens DO NOT LOCK ANYONE or you will be frozen and probably die.

The reason I Recommend Deuce and Cinque is that they have an AoE melee attack. When using Deuce, just run in circles and make them gather together, once this happens, unleash the attack, as she has a high staggering point, they will be stunned until she finishes the attack, but, be careful, Deuce's 4th animation attack cannot be stopped, so you will need to have an eye on the ground for the explosion lamps.

Cinque is basic the same, however, you will need to use her mace cyclone, that will knockback the tonberries away. Her animation takes more time to go off than Deuce, so extra careful here.

You will want to have hi-potions at your shortcut item button.

You will be fighting 4x tonberries at a time until the counter says you defeated 40, after that, they will spawn 8 at once. You can avoid that by not harvesting the fallen tonberries out of the field.

Video says it better.

Second Floor: 100x Coeurls
Recommended cadets: Cater, Trey, King

This is the most stressful chamber. Why?
They can teleport to your location and deal a huge AoE lightning based atack on you that knocks your cadet back gives them shock status, so, melee cadets here are off question (except maybe Queen with speedrush skill).
And second, they have a skill called "Blaster" that can K.O your cadet. Deuce had 8.5k HP and 192 magic def and died in 1 hit for it. And the Coeurls can roar and make this lightning ball charges fast at you. Extra careful here.

The best way to deal with coeurls is using a cadet that can easily exploit breaksights and killsights, like King and Trey. All you need is lock upon them and wait for them to teleport next to you and wait that yellow/red mark appear and hit. Rinse and repeat.
If they try to conjure blaster (the game will say it so), try attacking the one doing it to immediatly stop. If you´re not able to do it you will have 2 options: Either attack the blaster (or blasters, sometimes they spawn 2, or your attacks make them split) and make it die, or charge at it and dodge at it (Yes, dodge at it) and it will explode doing no harm at you, however you cadets need to have untouchable learned for that. This is also the reason why I did not put Ace as a recommend, you need someone who can jump at the death skill, and Ace only teleports.

If you´re using Cater, just attack them and run to heal if needed, since she does not need reload, she can fire infinitely, use that as your advantage. You will also want her speed to avoid the blasters. Dodging with her might be risky since her animation is different from the others.

You will want to have Anime Lanterns in your item shortcut button.

Different of the first one, Coeurl spawns 2 at a time, 3 at 30 kills and 4 at 60 kills.

On the video, you see I had issues with Deuce at this room.
Third Floor: 100x Glasya Labolas
Recommended cadets: Any

If you have fought any Snow white or Sasquatch then this won´t be any different. They are just a Snow White dude at familiar size and huge HP, and this so, this is the funniest floor for me.
Only have careful that his charged fist ground attack, this can freeze, silence and poison you.

Blizzard BOM proved to be really effective against them.

1 Glasya Labolas spawns a time until you defeat 30.
2 Glasya Labolas Spawns until 70.
3 Spawns until 100

Fourth floor: 100x Mushussu
Recommended cadets: Ace, Deuce, Cater, Trey, King

This is the most boring and longest floor. the very fact of that is that I could only deal with one mushussu at a time. They deal 3/3 the damage of the tonberries, but they swallow multples sludges at you that can chase you down and kill you very easily.

Mushussu starts sleeping and will only attack you when you do it so. If you´re in range, he will drop sludges at you, if you´re, he will tail slap you, spawing more of those acid things, or even swallow more sludges.

If you manage to drop his life to 3/5, or you bothered him too much, he will slowly go after you dropping the acid balls at you and popping other more in air for a short ammount of time. At this time, you will want someone like Cater or Ace to have distance from him and attack.

The strategy here is drop down 1 lifebar of him at his first sleep and 2 bars at his second one, so when this happens, he will go mad at you and run in circles at the room, then he will make a ful circle at himself at drop massive waves of sludges at a straight line (at you), try making a breaksight before he does that. If he still have his final life bar, Sludges will start float in the air and go after you, try to dodge it and focus on the big fish.

Only 1 Mushussu at a time until 30 kills.
2 Mushussus until 70.
3 Mushussus until 100.

Just FYI. I took 3 hours to make this chamber.

Fifth floor: 100x Behemoth King
Recommended Cadets: Any

The easiest of the floors is here, the behemoth kings are also not different of the ones you find the during the game and at Bethenel Cave, they just have lots more HP and deal 3/3 Tonberrie Damage.

Althought, let´s not go easy here. If you have protect on and he decides to charge you, he will connect twice at you, and may can kill you (as you don´t have the knockback status). Sometimes, he makes a surprise tail whip attack at you that can wipe away your HP. This happens when he does a 4- way attack at you and cannot hit.

You will be fighting 1 behemoth at a time until the counter reaches 50, after that, it will be 2.

Sixth Floor: 1x Cosmic Marlboro
Recommended Cadets: Any

The final room is just one large marlboro, nothing more (and here I thought I´d fight a supreme 1 million HP boss, but nope). He just stands still at the center of the arena dropping more Sludges at you that can 1 hit K.O your cadet. Getting close to it when he uses his breath attack will cause your character to be frozen, silenced, poisoned and have a killsight status.

Killing and harvesting him will allow you to discover the final chest with the agito insignia.
