The Introduction
This game can be pretty brutal at the start so get in the habit of saving often. Enemies are stronger than in the first game and remain difficult throughout the whole game. It does get easier after the first section though, so don’t get discouraged.

First thing to do once you get control is hit Shift on a keyboard or the A button on controller to toggle sprint. It’s going to save a lot of time by doubling the pace you move, without any penalty. Speaking of saving, seriously, do it often.
Glimthar & Windir
After getting through the cut scenes and dialogue grab your bow from the chest by the fireplace and head outside. Go to the house just south of where you start and pick up a lantern; just walk up to it and activate it to take it. Next, talk to the Researcher to find out how bleak things have gotten since the last game. Lastly, pick up the spell book for Double Shot from the chest on the east side of the house.

Head back outside and pick up the boar meat from the chests in town: one south of the shop by the tree, and another in the Research House, just west of where you started. Before you fight the Wall crusher, make sure you optimize your equipment, and learn Double Shot by reading the spell book in your items. Save at the blue flame on the west side of town and go fight.

He's not hard with about 2k health, and will fall in a few turns. You will want to try and use your stronger SP attacks to take him down. You will gain more SP every turn survived and you will gain more when you take damage. Once you beat the Wall Crusher, head back up to the house you started in and go take a nap on the bunk beds. This will restore your health.

Leave town and head east, to Windir's Tower. With the lantern from earlier you’ll be able to navigate it. Once you're there, talk to Windir, and he'll join your party. You’ll also get the “Windir!” achievement. Inside there are a bunch of ghosts that you can't fight. Do you best to avoid them or you'll be caught in a battle you can't win (yet). If you do end up fighting them, you just need to survive two turns before it gives you the option to run. There is a wheel of cheese on the first floor and the compass is on west side of the third floor. Once you get the compass you can leave. You should also make a pit stop to heal in Glimthar before going on.
Fields of Darkness
From there, you'll head south through the rock path below the city. It is infested with zombies and ghosts. At the south entrance, there is a house with a zombie woman who wants you to put her husband to rest. You can locate him using the compass back at the top of the field. He is in the eastern part of the map. You'll need to get through the ghost maze just south of where you came in, to a grave yard. The maze is designed so that the ghosts can be avoided by luring them and running around them. Once you’re through it, go north. On the east side of the field is a ladder up a cliff, and 5k gold in a chest that’s worth getting at this stage of the game. Head south down the field and follow the light stone path south; stay on the path or you'll have to start over. At then end of the path is the field, and the zombie husband is on the east side by a large crescent of hay bales. He's easy to kill with less than 1200hp. To leave, take the short cut on the west side of the field and start heading south. When you get to the south exit the zombies blocking the exit will be gone.

Optional: Field of Darkness Loot
As for the other loot in the area, don't be afraid of the trolls maze, they don't fight you, they only try to block you from getting to the treasure chests. They’re protecting 4300 gold and a thick leather vest. At the top west corner is another ghost maze at the end is a frozen bow. South east of that is a large rock formation that has the Ice Robe for Windir. Both are worth picking up for now. Also beware of the Wall Crusher in the west, he's at the end of a long forest path, there's a save point at the start of it. You can always come back; otherwise you’ll need a dozens of healing items.

Jenise & The Ice Labyrinth
Follow the rock maze out and head south. The bridge is out, but the river is frozen so you can get across anyway. Walking on frozen rivers is a great way of avoiding battles. You'll find Jenise to the south, where you can get some upgrades for weapons and armor.

You’ll find out that you need to gain the favor of Jenise’s nobles. To get the “Mr. Popular” achievement make sure you do not talk to the guard blocking the path to the Water Fountain in the center of town. As of writing this guide there is a glitch preventing you from getting the achievement if you talk to him before helping all three nobles. You can make a second save just to be sure.

There are three nobleman quests you need to complete.

The first is for a man in the Inn who complains about the fruit being spoiled. Talk to him and then head south east of the city and you'll see a tent. At the camp, one of the crates has the fruit. While you're there, check the tents for gear.

The second quest is to clear out the rats in the Ice Shrine. Head to the house in the northeast part of the city and talk to the man at the table. Head northwest of the Jenise to get there. Upon entering you’ll get the achievement “Cold as Ice”. The rats themselves are pretty weak with less than 1000 hp. Once you kill the two rats, there is a floor puzzle. At the north east of the dungeon is a blue green tile step on it, then the blue tile below it, then green, alternating colors as you head back down without stepping on the same colored tiles twice. This will bridge a gap on the right side, allowing you access to the final rats, eight of them at once. This is a good time to use ice bombs if you have them. Head back and talk to the nobleman to complete the second quest.

The third one is from a couple in a house on the west side of town with the snowman in front. The wife is sick and needs a purple root to cure her. You can buy one in Meldor's shelter for 2500 gold. To get there, head west and go around the mountains then follow the river east. Once there and avoiding the ghosts, head inside the Inn (the northwest building) and down stairs. In the northwest corner of the basement is a shop where you can buy it. Return and talk to the husband again to complete the quest.

Once you've completed the three quests, talk to the guard in front of the water fountains you'll be given access to Belet and the achievement “Mr. Popular”. Make sure you rest and stock up on items before talking to Belet because she'll throw you into the Ice Labyrinth below the city to clear out enemies. There are some more powerful enemies than on the outside. The moving ice crystals warp you back to the start, so avoid them as best you can. To solve the sliding ice maze go: east, south, east north, west, north, east, west, north, east, south, west. At the end you'll need to fight a creature named Malroc to get the key out of the dungeon. He’s pretty easy for a boss, and can be defeated with a single Triple Shot volley. You'll also find the spell book for Garic's Focus skill just past Malroc. Read it right away; it can be used in combat to increase Garic’s SP by 20 per turn. At the end of the cave is a chest with the magic candle, which melts the ice blocking paths. Once you have the candle, find the big blue button at the center of the dungeon and press it. Before you can leave you can pick up the Pyros Wand back toward the start. You'll be given a letter from Belet to give to the Elves of Ferdel who will give you access to the Solthan.
Solthan, Ann & Dinyon
Head south to Meldor, then follow the path east to get to The Elvengate. Assuming you never talked with the elves at the gate, you will get the achievement “Border Crossing”. If you did, and want the achievement, you can use the 2nd save you made earlier. Navigate through the Ferdel West Passage and you’ll arrive in Solthan. Once you're there, head north to the senate which is in the Royal Quarter. There you'll find out that Ann is being held captive by order of the Senate to keep the ghosts at bay.

To get to her, head to the to the Moon Garden on the east side of the Royal Quarter, there you'll need to move 5 boulders onto special tiles in the maze: Two on the west just after where you start, the two in the center of the maze, one in the south eastern corner. When all 5 are placed, it will unlock a door on the lower east side. Going through it will get you to the Chapel of Ely. You'll go through a reunion cinematic before exiting the Chapel, head back in and activate the alter and Ann will learn Raise X. Now that Ann is in your group you’ll want to not talk to guards, you have the option to “fight” them, but they’ll just put you back into the Chapel of Ely. It’s a minor inconvenience.

You need to find a hidden dungeon where Dinyon is being held. Talk to the guy in the blue robe by the south pond in the main quarter, and he'll tell you to talk to the Boutique Shop owner in the southeastern part of South Solthan. The shop owner will have you collect 11 Elven Cherries from around Solthan. There are 5 in Solthan South: directly west of the flower shop, one on either side of the royal quarter entrance, and two in the cliffs by the Gold Quarter entrance. There are two in the Gold Quarter: one in the cliffs above the Inn, and in the cliffs of the Mysterium. There are two in the Night Quarter: one directly north of the library and one east of the Ranger Station hiding behind a tree. The final two are in the Royal Quarter: one is in the southwest garden and the last one is outside the Chapel of Ely. Once you've gathered the flowers he'll tell you to go and knock on the wall of one of the buildings in the Moon Quarter. Head to the east side of northeastern-most building and knock on the second tile from the bottom to gain entry.

Take the secret entrance to the dungeon which is in the blue door at the top. The Dungeon has been warped into a labyrinth, so it can be confusing. To get the key to Dinyon's cell, you’ll need to find The Jailer in the north eastern side of the maze. To get to him, head as far east as you can, then go north as far as you can, and then west. You fight his pet wolf, who is weak to light and fire magic: Garic’s Trio Shot, Windir’s Stun Gust, and Ann’s Light, healing when needed are a quick way to take him down.

To get to Dinyon's cell head back toward where you came from. On the right side of the row of cells is a path that leads up. Take that and zigzag up to the third row. He's in a cell that's on its own down a long hallway. Talk to him to start a cinematic. When it's over Dinyon will be a part of your party. Make sure you optimize his gear before heading up.
The Elven Senate & Soltriste
Now you've made it into Elysium. You'll be ambushed by a group of 5 rangers on the first floor in the ballroom. One Multishot spell will take down most of them on the first turn. After dispatching them, pick up the spell book for Fire Shot on the west end of the corridor. Start climbing the stairs. You can avoid fighting if you want, but leveling doesn’t hurt. The first 3 floors you can just walk through. On the higher floors, there are hexes that if you step on them you'll get warped back to the start of the floor. At the end of the sixth floor is a green cloth on the wall, activate it to reveal a hex that will warp you past an impossible section on the 7th floor. It's straight forward after that; avoiding hexes as you navigate up. The 10th floor has a save point and a warp back down to the Ranger Station so you can leave to heal, restock items and upgrade gear. You’ll want to do this, there are three bosses ahead. You can get back up by using the same hex in the Ranger Station.

In the Road of Kings, you'll need to active orange tiles on the floor in the following order to unlock the door: south, center, north, north east, and south west. Go through the doors and up the stairs to get to the Royal Garden and fight Malathan and two guards.

Malathan - He is weak to fire and the guards are weak to Garic’s special attacks, they’ll go down in one turn with Multishot. Malathan uses earth magic attacks and can heal. His spells are: Stone (700 damage to one person), Split Earth (1500 damage to everyone), Resolve (500 damage to one person), Heal X (+1200hp). To win the fight, use Multishot for the first turn to take down the guards, then Fireshot from then on. Use the rest of the team to support Garic and Dinyon’s fire spells, with health and SP potions.

After defeating them, head up the stairs and talk to the senators in the northwest room. They'll give you a key to the conference room. Save, heal and continue heading up and fight the next boss.

Solarthron - She is the snake woman that killed the senator earlier. She's immune to fire attacks, and resistant to electric, wind and physical attacks. She's weak to light so use Light Bath to boost the team and make their physical attacks have added light magic. She has three attacks: Darkness of Ages (+1000 dark magic damage), Cleave (low damage but can stun), and a no damage blinding spell.

After defeating Solarthron, make sure you heal and save before heading into the conference room to fight the last two bosses, Girdathan and Solinda.

Girdathan and Solinda - They are weak to physical attacks, so Garic's Multishot is really effective here. Like Solarthron, they are resistant to most magic attacks. Solinda only has around 8-9000hp, so she'll drop before you have a chance to see much from her. Girdathan has a four attack spells: Deluge (+1000 water damage per group member), Deep Freeze (+700 damage group ice attack), Water (+500 damage single target attack), and snowflake (+700 damage single target attack). After killing Solinda using Multishot switch to Trio Shot until he falls. Exit out the top right to get to The Queen, Soltriste.

After speaking with Soltriste, head out to the East Ferdel Passage for Dinyon's portal. While you’re there, pick up the spell book for Alert Shot; there’s a secret entrance to a field on the west side of the forest. You need to take a hidden path through the wall at the dead end with the leafy plant. Once inside, just step on the hexagram.

Optional: The Ice Wizard’s loot
After getting Ann, go to the haunted house on the southwest side of the main quarter. There, you can use the Staff of Feras to find a hidden recording from a dead wizard who will tell you of his treasure in the East Ferdel Passage. First go into the Moon Garden, and at the top middle of maze, east of where the second set of switches is, and you can find a pile of rocks where a key is buried. From there you head out of Solthan though the Night Quarter to the East Ferdel Passage. There is a small house where you'll find the Ice Wizard’s Hat and a spell book for Poison cloud.
Carallan & The Tournament
Once in Carallan, you'll find the city is under attack. Talk to the General at the gates and he'll ask you to light the eight crystals around the city. Fight your way through. Make sure to talk to the little girl you save by the Pub so Ann will learn Spirit Shield. Hateful Shadows are weak to Garic's attacks and wind magic. The Flashback Dragons are weak to wind magic. In order to fight the second one, you have to talk to the general after lighting the crystals. After beating both dragons, you get to fight the Wall Crusher Alpha! Like the smaller Wall Crushers, he's weak to Garic's specials, electric and light attacks. He's a tank though, use Dinyon's Go Crazy spell to keep him useless, while Garic and Windir's spells can keep him stunned. He has between 15-20k hp.

After defeating the Wall Crusher, the General will tell you in order to gain the favor of Carallan, you need to defeat Carallan's new dictator, Buchis, in a tournament. Head to the pub to get a letter of recommendation from Harkon to fight against Buchis in the Tournament Grounds, located east of Carallan. If you want to do it all in one go pick up some RT potions from the Potion Shop in Solthan's Night Quarter to be able to restore Garic's SP between fights.

Marisa - She is not hard to beat. Just use Trio Shot, and Focus when she does Counter. You'll be done in 5 or 6 turns.

Silver Cobra - He uses poison attacks right out of the gate, which will drain you quickly. He also has spells that will stun you and put you to sleep. Use Alert Shot to counter sleep and the Onyx ring to counter the blindness. I couldn't find anything to counter the poison at this stage of the game. He never heals so take your time beating him, healing and restoring SP when you need to.

Quizzer - He starts off with a quiz on the world of Labyronia. The answers are: 7, Detergen, 60. Next, you fight him. If you answered one of the questions wrong, he'll kill you in one hit on the third turn. He has thee attacks - Thunder X, hypnotize, suggestion -that last two can put you to sleep. To fight him use Alert Shot to counter the sleep spells, and whittle him down.

Alliandra - She's an elf who uses all combo attacks: Resolve (~450x2), Lightning Slash (~300 x3), and Silver Flash (~1000 x2). Bring a lot of healing items. You're going to take enough damage you won't need to restore SP in this fight.

Buchis – Stock up on healing items and SP restoring potions. He is a tank with fire and dark magic based attacks. Don't worry about it. You’re supposed to fail.
Durius & The Hall of Madness
After losing to Buchis, you wake up in a cave with a dwarf name Durius. After you talk, he'll join your party. Head east until you reach a cave with the pick axe; pick it up and head into Durius' house. A cinematic will start, and you'll get a key. After, head back inside again to get the spell Counter from the chest. Head back to the cross roads and take the north road.

Navigate the cave to the sealed gate. In the next room there are rolling rocks that will hurt you and send you back to the start. After enough failed attempts they will kill you so this part can be tedious. To get past the first rock, wait in the safe area midway through, and make sure you align Garic so he's in the space closest to the path. Run after the rock passes you while it’s still heading west. For the second one get into the alcove just after where it the arrow on the ground, start running as soon as it passes you heading left. There is a safe corner where the ball won’t go; it’s on the bottom right of the zigzag path the ball takes. After the rolling balls there is a rope ladder that takes you to the surface, and to the east of the cave is a building where you can fight an Aspect of Armagen, a very powerful but not unbeatable boss.

First, head up the rope, heal, and save before going back down to fight it. He’s weak to light attacks, so use light bath to make your team more effective, while Garic provides the most damage, and Durius to restores SP when not attacking. After the battle, Ann will rejoin the group. Head up the rope again and start heading north, to get back to Carallan. Once there, talk to Harkon who’s outside the Arena. He’ll tell you head back to Hall of Madness.

Head back to the Abyss and to crossroad in the cave where you met Durius and head west into the Hall of Madness. It is designed to be disorienting and loops back on itself. You’ll be collecting crystals to open a series of doors in the dungeon.

Blue Crystal - Start out by heading up and take the first possible west. At the crossroad with the save point, head north and you’ll find a door. Go inside Armagen’s Singularity and pick up the blue crystal. To get out of the room, you need to keep trying to open the door (around 50 times) and eventually it will open.

Red Crystal - Head back south to the save point then head back east to the corridor you first turned from and go south. You’ll come across a room with two dancing women and a door; use the blue crystal on it to enter the Room of Death. Head in and go activate the mirror to get the red crystal.

Yellow Crystal - Head back south two rooms to use the red crystal on the door to the Room of Gluttony. The Yellow Crystal is on the east side of the room in a crate.

Dinyon - Leave and head back north and take the west path again, this time continue west at the crossroads until you reach the end of the path and find a wide corridor, you can’t go down as a wind will blow you back up. Up the corridor are boulders that will roll down at you. If you see a skeleton, that’s the path the boulder will take, so avoid it. While you're here, grab the spell Regen for Dinyon. You can find it after the 3rd skeleton on the east side of the path in a red room, which has a hidden entry you just walk through. Shortly after, you’ll find a path that goes left again; continue until you find the patch of grass. Take the south path to a spider maze. On the west side of the room is the door to the Room of Fear where you’ll find Dinyon. Heal up; you fight a spider mini boss immediately after talking to him. The babies have about 3k hp, matriarch has about 15-20k hp, and they are all weak to fire. They all use the stock Drain Spider moves. Once you defeat the spiders, Dinyon will rejoin the party.

Leave the room and continue south. (The next room has a crazy guy who will throw you in jail in the Gluttony Room if you talk to him or let him touch you. If you do end up there, take the path out to the fire to warp back to the grassy area.) After the crazy guy, keep going south to the next room, the way out is on the western wall.

After the cut scene, head north and use the magic candle to exit the cave. Then head north to the Fountain of Fortune and speak to Ibiz.
The Airship & Sciethar University
After speaking with Ibiz, grab get the airship to the east of The Fountain. You can now travel anywhere in Labyronia!

Take the airship north to the clouds and land near the rock with purple building on it. Take the flinger up to the Sciethar University. Inside are assassins. On the west side behind the bar, you’ll find a pair of Sciethar Wings in a crate; pick them up, you’ll need them to leave later.

There is a locked door in the basement you need to collect a few items for to unlock. The first is the Crystal Dagger; you can find it after defeating the assassin leader in the closet on the east of the lobby. On one of the tables by the bar is a beer, pick it up to get the Green Malt Beer. Head to the basement and on the east side of the room is a table with grapes on it, pick them up. Last is the Red Potion. It’s in an invisible chest in between the shelves above the grapes. Now that you’ve collected them all, place them on the table on the west side of the room and head north to the door. Go down the west hallway and pick up the bucket of water in the corner and head back up stairs. Go up another level to the library. You can use the bucket of water on the fire in your path. Heal up and save.

In the library you’ll find Windir and Buchis. Dinyon sits the fight out, since Buchis isn’t affected by fire magic, and Windir takes his place. Buchis is resistant to everyone’s attacks, and immune to electric magic, but is weak to Light. Use Ann’s Light Bath again to get the advantage again. He uses three main attacks, Fire storm (two hit combo fire attack doing +1200 damage total), Darkness of the Ages (400-1000 damage to everyone), and Evil Thrust (800 damage to one person). He doesn’t heal, so whittle him down.

After defeating Buchis, you'll want to make one pit stop before heading back toward Carallan. Go north to the maze in the ocean then head west until you find an island by itself. There is a cave inside with the spell Dispel All that you will need later. You can also do some level grinding here if you want, there is only one enemy type, the Abyss Lord, and it gives 10k exp per kill. They don't have any weaknesses, so poisoning them is the most effective way of bringing them down. Now head to Carallan which is southwest of the island.

Once in Carallan, speak to Harkon. He has made an alliance with the Elves, has massed both their armies and begun fighting at Armagen’s Castle! Hop in your airship and head southwest to get there. When you arrive, you’ll see a massive battle. You can’t help, so keep heading north toward Armagen’s Castle.

Optional: The Harpoon Staff
Once you get access to the airship you can get the Harpoon. It is a strong staff you may want for your mages. You can find it on the north coast of Labyronia, in a small village. Light the fisherman’s fire and talk to him to receive the harpoon, an ice based weapon and one of the most powerful staffs in the game.
Armagen’s Castle & The Final Fight
In The Entry Hall, step on all the orange tiles to open a door on the east side.

Hall of Mirrors - To unlock the door to this room, step on all the orange tiles in The Entry Hall. The man in the room will not attack, talk to him to see the order of which mirrors to look into: Arrogance (Belet), Friendship (Garic), Love (Ann), Good Will (Area Master), Old Man (Dinyon), Father (Windir), Golden Memory (Elf Queen), Power (Buchis). The order you must look into the mirrors is 1, 7, 8, 6, 2, 5, 4, and 3, with 1 being the west-most mirror. Once you active them, the southwest door in the entry will open.

The Frost Hall – You will only have 40 seconds at a time to be in there or else you die. You can’t sprint either. The chest you see has the Ice Mage’s Royal Robe. What you need to do is light all 4 torches. You have to do it in multiple tries. The torches stay lit and the snowballs remain melted even after leaving the room. Once they’re all lit, the timer goes away and the northwestern door in the entry opens.

The Hall of Darkness
– In this room, touching the walls or hexes on the floor will warp you back to the Entry Hall. In the room, you’ll find another Ice Mage’s Robe, and the Radiant Dagger (light attack that can blind). There is a crystal in the north east of the room, activate it to unlock the northeast door in the entry.

The Nightmare Room – This room is a spiral, where you fight increasingly strong enemies. The first are 3 skeletons, weak to fire and light. Next are a hateful shadow and two cluster souls that are all weak to light and physical attacks. Third is an evil eye fire. Fourth is a Symbolic Dragon weak to wind and poison. The last enemy is Aftermath, who is weak to light, so use Ann’s Light Bath to taken him down faster. After defeating him you’ll get the “Beginning of the End” achievement and unlock the 5th and final door in the entry room.

Corridor of Gods
- In the corridor you need to step on the grey tiles in front of the five statues of the Gods to unlock the door. There are two invisible chests on the purple tiles: one has the Radiant Bow which is the strongest bow in the game and does light damage, the other is Battle Mage’s Talisman. Head through the unlocked door and step on the hex. The hex will teleport you to a dark and unknown area.

Head north until you find a large hole in the ground, then head west past the 4 chairs. Eventually you’ll find a recording of Arres. Listen to him and proceed to the Observatory by going east until you come across a row of vertical holes, it’s just north of that.
Activate the large hex and you’ll be teleported to the observatory. Heal and save. You’re about to fight a mini boss. She’s weak to physical attacks, and not much else. Just power through it, but know that you’ll have to fight the next enemy without a break, so make sure you keep your team in the best of condition.

Armagen fights as three units at once: Armagen, Image of Arres and the Pendant Core. They are weak to physical and light attacks. They are resistant to Wind and fire attacks so Windir and Dinyon become you support healing and buffing. Use light bath and regen keep you effective; Spirit Shield can help lower the damage coming from Armagen's. Focus on keeping Garic's SP up and using Multi Shot until there's only Armagen left. Dispel All Is your friend; it’ll remove buffs, health regeneration and most importantly, Eternity, a move that prevents them from dying.

Image of Arres is the weakest of the three and is the healer of the group. He is able to use Donate Life, giving his HP to the other two in exchange for his own. His attack is Life Drain does around 600 damage and giving that amount back to himself.

The Pendant Core is the second weakest. Its job is to buff the group. It has three moves: Spirit Shield (+MDF all), Dispel All (Removes buffs and regen, Light Force remains), and Weaken Light (Buffs against light damage you inflict).

Armagen is a tank. His attacks are very strong. He has four moves: Eternity (Makes himself unable to die while in effect, you must use Dispel All to remove it), Darkened Sun (attacks the group with 2700-3000 damage), Never Ending Winter (800 ice damage to the group), and Insanity (900 damage +Confusion)
Defeating Gen’Kishi & The Crumbled Cave Fight
To get the achievement “Crumbled Cave Fight” you must fight Gen’Kishi and his mirages. You can find them in an isolated cave just east of Glimthar. This can be a tough fight, but if you coordinate it well, it’s no worse than the other bosses. They are weak to light and physical attacks, but are resistant to other magic and immune to poison. Some of the attacks will kill you in one hit. Pack some Purple Roots and Elixirs just in case. They all have the same three attacks: the normal attack (around 600 damage), Mortal Trust (1000 damage with a chance to insta-kill you), and Hibari Slash (a two hit combo each hit doing between 1200-2000 damage).

You can beat them by keeping your support alive, with Ann reviving, providing Light Bath, and attacking when able; Windir providing SP potions to Garic; Dinyon supporting with Regen and Heat to prevent the real one from attacking; and Garic dealing the damage with Multi-shot. The Mirages have about 15k health, and the real Gen’Kishi with about 20k health.

You will get the spell Fire Spear for defeating him.

Thanks for this guide. "Evasion" and "Counter" are good to get for Garic; make the figths in Tournament and Gen'Kishi easy. "Dispel All" is obligatory for the final boss or you will not be able to defeat him. It seemed strange to me that the battle was long, and when applying Dispell the boss died instantly (because he had Eternity).

@Set of Jacks Thanks for tips.

@Tony Stark It's wrong the order you're giving. The one described in the guide is correct. I did a test while I was at that point.

Having 1 Battle Mage Robe, 2 Earth Robe and 2 Water Robes from the Golden Quarter help a lot against the Elven Senate fight. Equip Battle Mage Robe whoever has the highest magic defense, then equip 2 Earth Robes against Malathan, and switch to 2 Water Robes against Girdathan.

Buying a Poison Ring from Jenise early in the game pays off against Silver Cobra in the tournament. Being immune to poison saves you a lot of healing items and turns that could have been used for Garic's Evade and Focus.

You can defeat Alliandra easily by keeping evasion active on Garic

Arms shot spellbook is just north of the western entrance to East Ferdel Passage. As you enter go Right, Down, Right, Up, Right, Up, Left, up 3 squares then go left and go through a hidden passage

Man, that ending was disappointing. The first one cliffhanger'd into the second, but was still compelling. This one looked like it was trying to develope something, but just ends.

Highly accurate and useful guide. Here are some spoiler-free observations:

.You can rest for free at Garic's house, which will help you greatly in the early stages of the game.

.Unfortunately there's no aura regen gear in this game (+RIP+ Cross Shield), but you can buy Red Tamarite (+50% SP) and Winter Leaf (MAT up) potions in Solthan's Night quarters for 450 gold, each.

.The best food you can buy is the "Rubby Apple". It restores 1.350 HP and you can buy as many as you want at Solthan's item shop for 150 gold, each.

.After you rescue Soltriste, go back to her chambers and inspect the altar that teaches the Skill: Dual Light, which "Deals holy damage to one enemy two times".

.Even though you'll need to defeat it later. You can confront the Aspect of Armagen at Arres's former shed (located in the SW corner from Jenise) once you've formed a team. This way you'll get the "Staff of Relief" that regenerates HP much sooner.

.To make the fight against Silver Cobra easier you can buy a "Poison Ring" at Jenises's item shop. You can also equip the "Midnight Hat" you find in the the mines (NE from Jenise) to be protected against Blindness.

.To unlock the secret chest in the Earth Cave, equip the "Footmen Armor" with Garic. You can buy it at Solthan's armor shop.

.To unlock the secret chest in the Firelands Cave, push the boulder to the bottom left corner.

.The best staff of the game is the "Radiant staff". You can find it in the void-like reality you reach through the portal in the Corridor of Gods. The chest is located East of the pentagram where you spawn.
