WELCOME! - Tips & Tricks for new Devilians!

BEFORE YOU LOGIN IN DECIDE...
Server EU or NA - Names are region wide, there are currently two shards per region
Class & Race - Characters are gender locked

AFTER YOU LOGIN...

SEARCH YOUR SETTINGS
Press Esc: See where it is down there on the right?
Look at everything especially System Settings > Set Controller Mode
Choose Devilian Mode or RPG Mode (WASD)

EXPLORE YOUR UI

Many things won't matter right away BUT to maximize beginners luck:
Check out your Bag UI - Find Salvage & Identify both are essential for bag space
Check next to your map for mail, dailies and patron status if you have it
LOVE the camera - Press Z for Zoom In! Press Control X to clear UI

LEVELING TRICKS
Story line quests are fun
Dailies and Crafting Galore!

Dungeon Info...
You don't get XP from dungeon monsters, instead, you get XP based on your rank at the end
Save your dungeon tickets for level 50/51 and use them all then to get easy S ranks and XP from any dungeon (even lower level ones, there's no penalty)
The fastest way to complete a dungeon is to just mass pull everything and AoE it down since monsters don't reset in dungeons (just be careful if there are steps that require you to kill new stuff that spawn since you'll have to run back)
Make sure you do the quests until you have at least unlocked the challenge page in your daily tasks, after that you can just spam dungeons if you want

A little later...
Check those Infinite Hunting Grounds
WARNING: Tower of Abyss is addictive
Prepare for Arena....

DIE GLORIOUSLY!
There are no long term consequences to dying in Devilian other than silver and pride!
Instant healing potions and heal over time potions have separate cooldowns

In a Devilian nut shell play a character to level 10, try another and check them all out if you can't decide. Take the time to sell items and check out the store. Talismans are your friend - good luck collecting them and drool with me over wardrobe!

Last but definately not least Add friends to your friends list to receive and give gifts then decide along the way about your Guild.
