A Gibus Engineer (Or Gibus Engie for short) is someone that installed TF2 a few hours/days ago, and because of that they are very, very, very, very, VERY, but not that much, Newbie.


They don't know what is going on most of the time, and are also called out for being NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBS

But unlike a NOOOOOOOOOOOB, there is hope, because while a NOOOOOOOOOOOOOB just thinks they know everything (and can't play jackpoop), a Newbie wants to learn, get better, and improve.







But older players (mostly the ones who just are tryhards/d1cks) mock them, bully them, and all around harass them, preventing what could be a future top level player from reaching as far as a 10 Hours of play time.

You can help us in many ways!
I will make you a list of a few things you can do to help:

• Sign up for coaching: On the main menu of TF2 there is a button that when clicked will sign you up for coaching! You will get notified whenever someone near you asks for a coach, and after you join the server you will have multiple tools that will help you guide the student!

  Ps: Sometimes the student is so Newbie that they won't even notice you, those people just need some solo experience before requesting for a coach, so don't be sad for them!
  
  
  
  
• Use sprays: Instead of ponies or porn, try using a image with a helpful message as your spray!

• Help Gibus Engies in distress: See a Gibus Engie doing something wrong? Use chat, voice chat and/or voice commands to tell him what he is doing wrong, and how to fix it!
  
  
• Don't bully Gibus Engineers!: If you are on the other team, do not, and i mean DO NOT, bully the poor Gibus Engie, instead have some respect, kill him in a respectful way, and be nice to him when you kill him, and if he somehow is able to resist your attack, congratulate him!

Q-Why are Gibus such tryhards/i got killed by a Gibus while being friendly.
A-First of all, make sure you weren't in the middle of an intense firefight (Control Point of a Koth map for example) cuz you're gonna get killed, accidentally or not.
Second, Gibus are new players, which means they don't know much about TF2, so they dont understand the concept of a friendly player, and it is your job as a friendly to teach them.(Or keep getting killed by them because you're lazy).
