How to Play : Rook

Rook is a defender with the GIGN French CTU.
HIs special 'gadget' is a deployable armour pack which when picked up increases your downed but not out chance and allow you to take 1 extra bullet to the chest.
He has very high armour but very low speed.
He has 3 primary weapons:
P90 - Submachine Gun
MP5 - Submachine Gun
SG-CQB - Pump Action Shotgun

As Rook only needs to deploy his armour pack at the start of the round, he is good for flanking so i would recommend the P90 as it has a high rate of fire, high magazine capacity of 50 rounds and a decent mobility rate.



He also has 2 secondary weapons:
P9 - Pistol
LFP586 - Revolver

As you have alot of ammo to use with your P90 already, I would recommend the LFP586 its high stopping power and you most likely do not even have to use it as you have a high magazine capacity in your P90 so you have a high chance of not reloading During a firefight.

He also has 2 gadgets to carry:
Deployable Sheild
Barbed Wire

Since you are using Rook as a flanker anyways, I would recommend the deployable sheild as you can deploy it for your teammates in the objective room and go off flanking the enemies without worrying about not helping your teammates.
Again all of these selections is personally what I use so you can go with any loadout you want.

Preperation Phase
First of all, before you do anything, deploy your armour pack for your teammates and ask them to pick them up as the armour plates may save their lives.
You can cooperate with Doc to revive teammates as Rook's armour plates can give his teammates a higher chance of downed but not out state long enough that Doc can revive them with his stim pistol.
Deploy your deployable sheild inside the objective room to help your teammates who are protecting the objective room.

Action Plase
DO NOT PANIC when all the explosions go off, trust me, once you panic your aiming goes way off and you can't hit any of your shots even with the P90.
DO NOT RUSH, wait till you hear gunshots and see that your teammates are losing health, then get out of your flanking position and start shooting the enemies.
If you get spotted, shoot the drone and move to another position quickly, remember your enemies can see your position for a short preiod of time.
Since Rook has low speed, once you hear a gunshot which does not belong to your teammates, you have to get ready to move to the position you heard the gunshot at, once you hear several gun shots, move to that position and start shooting the enemies. You should be able to shoot them down quickly with your high magazine capacity and high rate of fire of your P90.
