MoH: Airborne - Graphics card not supported fix
By Things happen...
Within this guide i will tell you how to fix the "your graphics card is not supported" error message that pops up when you attempt to start MoH: Airborne (or at least the way i fixed it so that the game could run properly). I have windows 7 so if anyone is asking me to cover the steps for windows 8 and above im sorry i wouldnt have a clue on how to properly set up the game for windows 8 and above (however i would assume they have the same style of setup needed as 7 would.)

Fixing the "Graphics Card not supported" startup
1. Install the driver within the link I have provided:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-legacy-driver.html
(this driver also fixes the physx problems people have been having with their game starting)

2. Go into your install directory for MoH: Airborne and find a file called UnrealEngine3 which will lead you to a file called Binaries, go into the binaries file. (should now look something like this - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medal of Honor Airborne\UnrealEngine3\Binaries).

There should be 2 .exe files within the binaries file. Right click on the moha_setup.exe and go to properties. There should be a compatabiltiy tag within one of the upper tags in the properties window, Click on it. There should be a checkmark button that says "Run this program in compatability mode for:" Click to check the button and scroll down to select "Windows XP (service pack 2)". this might work with 3 but 2 worked for me. Hit Apply and Ok.

You can now attempt to run the game without the "Graphics card not supported" error. I hope this has helped anyone looking to make their MoH: Airborne work properly.

Do you know of a fix for Windows 11?

for me, renaming the moha_setup file has worked. doesnt need to be anything specific, just rename it to anything. so far its all been okay, except during cutscenes, the people just sometimes show up as blank models.

Why do EA have to be such assholes? The only way I can get it working is by deleting MOHA Setup

This would probably be helpful in answering the Nvidia question:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/24840/discussions/0/810923580570432673/?ctp=14#c2445965459164687749

Others seemed to have got it working with non Nvidia gpu's, so I would assume yes
(Also I haven't touched the game in 5 years and have gotten a new computer since then so some things may have changed)

does it work with ANY graphics card, or just Nvidia's?

Great... however I fixed this by doing this the same way as you til I got to Binaries, then I clicked the main .exe file, not the setup/exe file, and set to "run in compatibility settings" so basically I just let the computer figure out what mode to run it in and it finally worked.
Thanks!
