Welcome people who just got Geometry Dash and don't know how to play or even use a mouse...
You will learn the basics! At the title screen press the big play button and click on "Stereo Madness". Eiether press space or left click to jump. Running into a block or a spike ect. will kill you and you will have to restart the level from the beginning.Try to jump right before you hit a spike. Holding down your jump button makes you jump the very second you touch the ground.Okay once you get the hang of it and come to the big hallway and turn into a Rocketship you will go "WHAAAAAAAAT THE WHAT IS THAT" and die in 2 seconds.You'll get used to it when you try enough...You hold down your jump button to go up and let go to fall down.Simple right. My mom always says "Perfect practice makes perfect" so you should practice a lot.After you beat the level you will see coins scattered about that you missed.Don't worry because you can collect all 3 of them after you beat it.But if you die when you have already collected them you will lose them. You have to beat the level after you collected them without getting killed for it to count.You might be wondering what coins are used for.They can unlock other levels with them.You can also unlock icons (we'll get to that in a second) with coins. Icons can be customized by going to the main menu
and clicking on the left big button with an icon on it.Here you can customize them with color and shape.You have to do certain achievements to unlock them (click on the locks to see how).
