Note: you will need a Nvidia graphic card for this

Hello all many of you will probably allready know this but for the people who dont know here is the graphic card fix for windows 8

1. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel
2. 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings
3. Select Program Settings and find Settler 6
4. In the drop-down choose High Performance NVIDIA processor
5. Apply the changes
6. Play the game

Hope it works let me know if it doesnt.

Sry for the late answers. No It isnt only for notebooks. But maybe it only happens when you have Intel intergradet graphics+any Nvidia proccesor

Maybe you make it clear that it is for notebooks?

You need to find the part called "Internal Graphics Memory" under "Memory Settings". Atleast that's what it's called in my BIOS which is on a Gigabyte motherboard. By default it's set to 64 megabyte but if you change it to 128 megabyte or higher, you will probably be able to play the game.

well there a re 2 more solutions i know that might work. one is to upgrade to windows10 and the other is a graphic card fix. i will search for it because i dont remember it. i will post the graphic card fix tomorrow and you can always get your money back within a week.

THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR ME. So annoyed. I get a message saying that 80mb video memory is required but only 62mg found. My memory card has 2g memory and I have tried the above fix, nothing. My stats totally kick the ass of the requirements. WTF? I AM SO ANNOYED.
