What is the League?
The League system is a feature of Block N Load that exists to help you measure your progress as a player.

You are automatically enrolled into the League system once your account has reached Level 7. You can see your current account level on the game’s Home screen, next to your Steam Avatar.

The League comprises 4 separate divisions – Bronze, Silver, Gold and Pro.

Each division (except Pro) has five rankings – presented in the form of roman numerals from V to I where I is the best. When you reach rank I in a particular League, you are then eligible for promotion to the next.

Pro is the highest division of play in Block N Load – here you compete with the best of the best. Pro players will be given a number ranking instead of a roman numeral. This number represents where they are within this league and, therefore, where they place in amongst the top players worldwide.

How do I progress through the League?
Progression is based on earning League Points (LP). Every battle you play earns you a certain amount of LP. 100 LP is required to move up a rank in each division (e.g. from Bronze V to Bronze IV = 100 LP).

Each division also has LP modifiers as follows:

  • Bronze V - Bronze I - Gain 2x League Points for a win, no adjustment for losing

  • Silver V- Silver I - Gain 1x League points for a win, no adjustment for losing

  • Gold V- Gold I - Gain 1x points for win, lose 1x points for losing

It is also worth noting that you can never be demoted between ranks (e.g. from Gold IV back to Gold V) if you keep losing. You would simply sit at Gold IV with 0 League Points until you began winning again.

Does my place in the League affect matchmaking?
Not really. Matchmaking is based on a behind-the-scenes calculation and not just on your League rank. This means that you will be entered into matches with players who are judged to be of a similar level to you regardless of whether you hold the same or a similar rank to them.

Do the Levels of my Heroes affect the League?
Yes, but only for the Gold and Pro divisions as follows:
  • Results from battles in which a Gold or Pro player uses a character that is Level 9 or below will not affect the player’s league standing at all.

  • If Gold and Pro players join a match that is already in progress (backfilling) it will not count towards their League Standing, regardless of its result. They will see a message explaining “you played in a match that was already in progress. This match did not influence your League position or your standing.” It is possible to uncheck the “join matches in progress” option in the queue.

Does this mean I can have a higher MMR than someone who has a better rank in pro than me?

@Hexa actually, you don't get league points because your character is NOT max level. In Gold and Pro the game only affects your league standing if you're playing with a character that is level 10+

I had a hard time finding this guide, I had to change my language selection to seeing all before I could find it. Could you at least check that this guide is in English?
