The Man in the High Castle - Updated!

1947, Capitulation Day. With the Axis powers meeting again on the other side of the globe, the war has come to a close. The United States has agreed to surrender to Japan and Germany, and North America has been divided in three parts. The Japanese Pacific States to the west, The United States, a Nazi puppet government, to the east and only the Rocky Mountain States remain free. Is this the end of the war to end all wars, or will tensions between the last two superpowers decide a final victor? Will the middling Italian Empire swing the power balance? Can the few remaining free countries remain neutral forever, and will what's left of America find opportunity in this chaos to take back their country?

Based on the novel by Philip K. ♥♥♥♥, including elements from the Amazon series, and many blanks filled in using what the Axis had actually planned but never accomplished.

This originally started as The Grand Finale and has seen a lot of changes.

HUGE UPDATE!

Thanks for your patience. Now 100% complete and playable. Armies, politics, economies, region and city development, scientific advancement and custom AI are now properly balanced and arranged to fit the story, as well as alternate history based on actual documented ambitions when not superseded by the story (and a bit of imagination where necessary), in addition to other details including changes to nation and city names, the addition and removal of relevant locations, and the addition of custom flags and decals. Too many changes to list individually.

Notes:

1000 turns. Starts June 6th, 1947 and goes until August 5th, 1966.

Playable nations include: Greater Nazi Reich, Japanese Empire, Italian Empire, Rocky Mountain States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Finland and Ireland.

Some nations have had their technology level and economic strength adjusted to reflect the setting of the story. For example, nations that were hit hard by the extended Great Depression caused by the assassination of FDR are lagging behind in both technology and development, including buildings and resources. Recently conquered nations may also have added losses in conflict areas.

Many cities have seen various adjustments, and a few other cities were added to North America and a couple other locations to make things a little more interesting, including small cities like Canon City that were mentioned in the book. A few cities have been renamed to fit the story, for example St. Louis is now New Berlin and Istanbul is Constantinople again. Stalingrad is just a little town on the Volga. Leningrad, Kiev and Moscow have been removed, as the Nazis planned to destroy Kiev and Leningrad completely and submerge Moscow forever in an artificial lake.

All islands in the Mediterranean have TEN extra farm slots EACH so you can build your own Project Farmland.

AI is adjusted to fit the attitudes of the nations according to the story, and some land claims have been changed to reflect other national agendas.
