Underground, Overground - Section One
Warning: This Walkthrough is laced with terrible humour, and as you've bought this game I will assume that you have a good sense of humour and tolerance about you. I accept no responsibility for use of bad puns.

There is little in the way of a tutorial for this game, but the controls are simple; you click on things. That's it. Really though. You click. The sparkling areas dictate that there are interactive objects still to use in that particular place. Mousing over the top of the screen provides access to the hint and skip buttons as well as the menu, and the lower half of the screen provides the inventory and the back button, which you will be using frequently to backtrack to areas you've already visited. The hint button refills slowly, and this speed can be changed by choosing between Advanced and Casual mode.

___________________

Firstly, you will need to pick up the knife to cut the wire holding together the lantern to the right. Use the wire to open the locked chest on the ground, and use the contents to open the puzzle in the alcove to the left; but wheel come back to that (punny. I know.). You can also use the yellow crystal on the lantern to light your way forwards.

The beast in this next area can be easily dismissed by grabbing the spear from the suit of armour, which reveals an alcove with a shaft and a gear. Take the gear back to the first puzzle to get rid fo the beast; then head to the Hall (far left). Endure the cutscene with Christopher, and then use the shaft on the broken pickaxe. It can then be used on the cracked wall. This reveals the first proper puzzle.

It's simple - click the items you see appear in the bottom box. Get creative with some of them e.g using the can opener on the can to reveal the olives, open the sun chest using the pattern on the wall to reveal the lion etc.

Grab the harpoon dangling from the pillar while you're here, and head back to the beaest-room to use your new flute on the snake in the helmet on the ground. Use the disc on the medusa-door in the same room, and solve the simple rotation puzzle.

Use the knife on the rope around the coffin, and then grab the discarded rope to create a rope and harpoon, which can then be used on the gears in the wall of the Hall. Use the knife in the gears and grab the gold tooth. Go back through to the Medusa room, and through the passage to the Vampire lair. Collect the gold tooth and axe from the bowl on the alter in the room. Then click the skull to the left to get the coffin key. Open the coffin, and you'll discover you need a glove. Use the axe on the vine passage in the Beast Room to get to another hallway with a dead soldier.

Grab his gauntlet and head back to the coffin to grab the piece. head back to the soldier and use the piece on the puzzzle behind the wall tapestry. Here is the solution:

Then grab the gem and head all the way back to the skull in the Lair. Use the gem and teeth on the skull to get the door key which will lead you outside to safety.

Smash up the tree with your axe and grab the pipe block. Then swipe it again for good measure to reveal the sap. Leave the deep pit for now; we'll come back to it later.
Head down the path and choose the left road. Grab the wheel, the spade adn then examine the skull of the dead body. grab the galsses and key; use it on the backpack for another word-click puzzle. Nothing complex; repair the wings of the angel, use the battery on the torch and solve the butterfly slide puzzle.

Take the needle and thread waay back to the solider room and use it on the bag of gunpowder. Then head back to the crossroads and take the right pathway. A conversation with Christopher ensues again, so it's time to blow up a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall. Because that would never alert the currently sleeping vampires to any shenanigans at all....

So. Dig up the chest with the cannonballs, solve the silly pipe-puzzle pictured here, and swipe the ladder. Head to the pit by the first trtee and iuse the ladder to go down and grab the unlit torch there. Slather it with sap from the treee we wrecked earlier, and you're good to go to the next clearing. Fix the broken cart with the wheel and use the glasses on the pile of dry straw to the right. Use the fire on the torch and you're good to go boom!

Use the cart on the cannonball in the chest to transport it over to the cannon (though it is a relatively short distance and quite honestly it would have been less trouble to just lift the damn thing, since you would have needed to lift it into the frigging cart and then into the cannon in the first place...) chuck in the gunpowder, cannonball and KABOOM!

Head through the wall towards the town to find le beloved.
The only normie in the Villaaage - Section Two
After a creepy encounter with the undertaker, follow him towards the next path. Interact with the cart to the left and solve the usual puzzle; take a picture of the sun with the camera, and assemble the pieces of the plate. Watch out for the mushroom that's noe in the cart, but on the grass behind it. Examine the old broom next to the cart, and cut the bristles off with the razor to grab the broomstick.

Head into the village and talk to the undertaker through his door. Chop off the string on the bellpull. Also grab the plank to the side of the street. Head to the alley on the left and examine the car. Cut open the pocket of the skeleton to obtain the keys. Go look in the trunk by using the keys on it, and you'll find a crowbar and a sponge.

Go back to the street with the burning tree, and examine the haypile. Use the broomstick on the pitchfork to grab it. Open the water-barrell with your crowbar and use the pitchfork on it to grab the fish. Take the hook from the fish's mouth, and use it on the string. This will allow you to grab the letterbox key that is currently down the drain in front of the water barrell. Douse your sponge in water before you head on.

Go and open the letter box (located in the alley with the car in town). Obtain the recipts and head to the undertaker's shop. Use the recipts on the scene to get in. Have a rummage around in the cabinets at the back to find the picture, fusebox key and hacksaw.

Use the key on the fuse box opposite the shop to get a fuse. The saw can then be used on the chained doors across from the shopfront. Go down the stairs and grab the canister to the left. Then use the fuse on the puzzle to the right. It's very simple, but here's the solution anyway:

Head further downstairs and raid the cupboards in the room. Use the razor on the waterbottle to get a watering spout (yes, it's absolute bullshite). Grab the cigar clipper and the shop window key; don't forget the bucket in here!

Head back to the fish-water barrell and douse the fire with a bucketfull. Time to explore the terrible quaint graveyard. Grab the shopfront key, key to the statue from the left sparkle-areas, and then use the cigar clipper on the skeleton in the pit to loot the signet ring. How it ended up there, we'll never know. Shiny though!

Before we can head into the crypt, we need to obtain the we angel piece. So head over to the old car and bust open the window - clean it with your wet sponge and then crowbar off the nails. Use the signet ring on it for resultsss. Once you have the shells, it's time to head down the stairs to the basement room and grab that shotgun we conveniently saw earlier. Go ahead and interrogate the gravedigger by using the newly loadded gun on him.

Thanks to your lavish charm, you can now open the shopfront cabinets with the two keys. Grab everything inside, and then head over to the Crypt in the graveyard. Use the angel on it for a frustrating as hell puzzle. I'd go ahead and skip it if you don't care about the achievements. However, otherwise, there is a good video of how to do it in the other tutorial on here.

How you're in, go ahead and take the fresco and use the adhesive tape on the walking stick inside the crypt coffin. Then crowbar the heck out of the planks on the cracked plaster to the right, and use the shotgun shell on it.

Now a bit of back and forth - head to the middle section just before toan and use the plank to cross to the gas-tank. Use the canister on it and the pliers to get the gas. Into the car it goes with the assisstance of the helpful bottle neck we swiped earlier. Use the walking stick and car keys in the front section of the car, and watcha s the wlal comes a-tumblin down. This lady likes her wall destruction!

Go through and grab a candle from the church by the alter next to the damaged fresco. Head away back to the damned crypt and ignite the shell dust to get your due rewards. Grab the key to the suitcase we've been staring at for hours and grab the fresco piece out of it. Head to the church again and use the statue key on the casket beside it. With the last bit of the fresco collected, piece it together to get the strange disk.

Use it on the shiny, glowy floor. Prepare for another infuriating puzzle. Nothing to do but fiddle about with all the bits til the colours are correct. Another skippable one if you don't care for achievements. Once you have it in your head that all the coloured wheels need to be full, and that the white ones don't matter as much, it becomes easier.

Now, head down the spoopy scary trapdoor to your doom! =)

Well. Not really your doom. A puzzle. Use the watering can on the plantpot for the flower, the symbols on the wall in that order on the box to get the crown and then the hammer on the piggy bank to get the coins.

Then sit back and enjoy the cutscene.
Booty and the Beest - Section Three
After the cutscene, you'll be able to interact again. Go over to the fruit cart for another wonderful puzzle. Use the knife on the apple to get the apple slice, the key on the padlock to open it and the scattered bits of fish scale on the fish skeleton to get it whole again.

Now that Cinderella has her pumpkin reward, head in the direction the monster went. Grab the boat hook and the brick, then head to the lake and grab the glove beside the chest. Head to the veggie cart again, smash the window with the brick and use the glkove to dislodge the glass, obtaining both the glass and sugar. Grab the paintbrush and dip it in the can of glue, then use the boat hook to grab the bucket from the roof.

Head back to the Lake, and fish the oar out using the boat hook. Bail out the water in the boat with the bucket, and use the glue on the hole to fix er up. Simply use the oar on her and cut the tether with the shard of glass, and disembark. Search the bushes for the key to the chest by the Lake and head bacak. Open it, and grab the missing puzzle piece. Now to use the boat you can just click off the edge of the dock.

Place the missing piece in the vault door, and solve the puzzle. Simple colours of skeletal masses. Fetching fashion choices.

So. Time to make a scarecrow. Grab the clothes and the candle, and head back to the crowwroads with the birds. Pumpkin, clothing, glass shard for spook-face combined with candle for a real jack-o-lantern feel.

When the birds leave accompanied by the game's beautiful musical score, you can continue down the forbidden path.

Explore the ladder in the distance to grab some secateurs.

Away into the Main Hall of the mansion and you can find a suit of armour with a mace and crossbow. Grab the mace for now and head to the dugout across the lake to smash another wall in. Smashy smashy. yet another puzzle!

Use the many keys on the empty slots to get yourself a set of keys - some of them are well hidden, so keep and eye out. Use the pump on the ball to the top right and the skull motif combined with the two crossed bones with the flag to get the jolly roger.

And out of all the useful ♥♥♥♥ you could have been given, we are awarded with a magnet! Happy days. Go outside and use the secatauers you picked up to cut back the hedging. You can then use the sugar to attract the ants and pick up the Awl.

Awl our worries will soon be over. Use the Awl on the right hand door in the Manor and use the magnet to attract the key underneath the door. You can then use it to open it from the correct side. Wow. (currently writing this as I go, and predicting the processes before I complete them).

Oh it's a library! How Beauty and the Beast. Let's go in.

LOOK. A BEAST. I swear, this is coincidental and excellent.

Look around in the cabinets and you'll notice a spillage. Grab the smaller flasks and put them into the large flask in order, and create the acidic solution. Use it on the chest outside to find a helpful "How to kill your beastie" Manual.

Head back tot he veggie cart and use your newly obtained hammer to pry the nails out of the poster by the glue-can. Fix the step ladder with the hammer and nails, and use it to climb up and grab the skewered bat in the tree beside our fetching scarecrow. Use the hammer to knock it out of the tree.

Head into the Manor again and use the painting fragment on the puzzle painting. Here is what you're aiming for; the pieces stack vertically, which is a pain, but it's simple enough once you know how it's done. Grab the kitchen key and head for that door.

Use the secateurs on the lute string, and grab that silver spoon. I wonder what we're going to do next. Perhaps it'll involve stringing that crossbow we saw in the hallway.

Go and grab it, and use the string on it. Use the matches on the gas burner on the side bench, then the silver spoon and the arrow, to melt the silver right onto it. Go and shoot the Daylight Walker.

Grab the feather duster on the windowsill, and head back to the kitchen. Dust away the cobwens to get the knife, and cut yourself out a bit of cheese. Cut open the tapestry with the knife and grab the mouse-trap. Bait it with the cheese after setting it down in front of the rat in the wall, and grab your prize!

Puzzle again by using the dial. Simply turn them so that the highlighted sections don't overlap each other.

More cutscene ends this section.
Twinning - Section Four
This section is fun.

Grab the cable from the briefcase on the ground.

Misleadingly, you can visit the house up to the let hand side of the screen, and you'll want to head there first. At the grating to the left, you'll find one of our usual puzzles.

Use the symbols in the order to get the hatch open for the brooch. The half coin can be obtained by cutting it with the tools, while the cup of tea is simply using the flask to fill the cup to the right.

BLOW TORCH!! Finally, a wonderfully interesting item for us to abandon after a single use! Go ahead and use it on the right hand statues by the door to get the head, and while you're at it collect the door-key.

Head towards the puddle puzzle and attach the statue head to the cable you obtained, once it's thrown over the tree to the right. Then examine the motorcycle and grab the fire extinguisher along with the useful screwdriver. Not the hat however, as "The flashlight batteries are have no charge". Glory to Arstotzka.

Extinguish that pesky fire on the fuse box and then unscrew the fastenings. you can then turn off the power. Now that you can get past, we can enter the fountain area.

Grab the oil can and bent harpoon, as well as the rake from beside the fountain. Head back to the house and we can see about getting rid of those darned leaves! Because it was impossible for her to dirty her hands by moving the leaves without the rake....

With the handle in tow, go ahead and use the oil can on the abandoned truck to enter. Use the handle on the grindstone, and the harpoon on the clamp to straighten it out. Grab the key from the floor to use on the lockbox in the briefcase to obtain a fuse. Head to the Lake and use the winch on the boat. You can then use the fuse on the winch to help complete the puzzle. Switch the wires so that each one leads to its partner colour.

Reel er in and grab the tasty objects. In a stunning turn of events, we now have to go underwater. Use the goggles on the lake. No mercy; shoot the awkward fish with a harpoon and grab the other half of the door key. Head back to the house.

Use the key and go inside. Screw open the doll to find a long-lost battery. How it has any charge left, I'll never know. to the side, there should be a table which provides another of our riveting clicky puzzles! To get the vase shard, smash is with the hammer, for the figurine you'll need to paint it the different colours as seen in the picture on the wall.

Grab the log from the padlocked shutters to the side. Use it quickly on the grindstone in the truck before moving on to the motorcycle. Use the battery on the helmet and use it to look in the wall crevice at the entrance to the house (down past the fountain).

After retrieving your new goodies, head back to the lake and use the valve on the water fountain pipe. After retrieving both pieces of amulet, it's time to go back to the house and use it on the locked grate. You'll find a painting piece there, so go ahead and solve the wall puzzle in the room. Unfortunately, it's a bit finnicky again. Rotate everything until the picture is complete. You're maybe better looking up a video to see how someone else has done it, or fiddly around until you're successful.

Use the key to open the door to what I shall christen as the Vortex Room. Grab yourself any goodies from the fireplace set, as well as the vase of water from the mantlepiece. Grab the dustpan and heap some hot coals on there; you'll need them for the bees in a bit. Put the water from the vase into the coals and grab the prize.

Head over back towards the fountain and use the coals on the fogger. Now. let us go and kill more of the local wildlife. Bees. Once the job's done, use the metal amulet you obtained and grab yourself the prettier prize.

Head back to the house and put all three metal decorations into the pillar to the right. A voila! A Vampire for you to slay! Stake him good and collect the objects in his coffin.

Head to the truck to fix the sword by blowtorching it while it's in the clamp. Now you can finally open the door to the other house! Pry it open with the sword and loot the tables in the hallway. surprisingly specific and helpful vampire killing book which uses a different steretypical method despite us just killing one all by ourselves... .Also a fish knife. Look at that. An oddly specific knife meant for fish. Let's gut the fish. Maybe there's a crucifix in it.

(This is hilarious. I adore how predicatable this has become.)

Head back to the first house and fix the mirror to get the small gear, and then put the growth serum on the garlic to obtain some fully grown specimens. Head back to the first house. Go ahead and use the gear on the clock on the wall and complete the little gears puzzle. With the pendulum disarmed head into the vampire's room and grab the lion's head piece off the table to the left. By now you probably know it goes out the front on the pillar.

SECRET TUNNELLLLL SECRET TUNNELLL.

Head down the secret tunnel and pick up the camera, as well as opening the Iron Maiden with the metal lever, and taking the mask there. Head back to the Vampire's room and scare the bats away with the camera. You can then gather the copper disk to open the book on the table in the hall. Take the mask, and place the crucifix in the goblet to get the cocecrated water. Mush it and the garlic up in the pestle and mortar, and use the syringe on it to get it nice and ready.

Put both masks on the indents by the fireplace and go in for the kill.
Manzel in Distress - Section Five
Rescuing your beloved is the aim of the game, so off we go.

Head straight through to the carriage and grab the oil and corkscrew. Unstopper the cork in the barrell we just passed. Knock it out of the way and then look inside to grab the handle. Enter the little shelter; grab the pinch bar and the helmet, then go ahead and put the lever in the hole. You'll need to oil it, and then you can operate it. It pulls down the bird's nest, which contains the handcuff keys.

Take the keys and unlock the cuffs in the carriage, and attach them to the chains by the statue outside on the bridge. Then use the pinch bar to heave ho! Claim the shiny new metal disk as your prize. Head to the fountain in the wee courtyard and fill the helmet full of water. Take it back to the animal skeleton at the beginning and wash it off. It's a fecking dinosaur.

Vampires and Dinosaurs, ladies and gents. So, obtain the tooth from it. Stick the tooth in the pipes to the edge of the fountain and drain it. Grab the second half of your key piece and chuck them both in the doorway.

Blocking off the stairwell is an ungodly array of planks. Happily for us, it's a puzzle. The usual applies. Scissors cut the fabric to obtain a single piece, shift things out of the way to get ahold of the three tiles to open the box for the skull - the code is over to the side on the wall.

Use your newly obtained spear to grab ahold of the ladder in the courtyard. Head up there and straight into the parlour at the back. Grab the jar and the block of ice. Take it back to the dragon to get it melted. Take it back upstairs and use it with the painting on the wall in the dining room - take a good look; it's hiding on you! This one is a proper doozy; I'd recommend a video for it again.

Now that the dragon is out of action, you can head down and grab the mirror, and the dragon itself. Use said dragon to incincerate the metal bars by the dragon painting, and enter the Clock Room. Another puzzle awaits us! The general click kind again - fill the syringe with the tube on the shelf to the left, collect the figuring parts and glue the photo. Meh.

Use the clock hand on, funnily enough, the clock. Grab the spring from it and use it on the jewellery box to get the fountain piece we've been after. While you're at it, snag a handle off the window.

Head down and put the piece in the fountain, and observe the fabulous bongos as we descend into the crypt. Grab the net, and the casket key from the statue. Head back upstaris to the kitchen. Grab the moth from the window after using the handle on it. Then head to the dining room and open the casket.

Head back down to the crypt and place the moth on the spiderweb by the statue in order to use your jar to catch the spider. Use the captured critter on the spider wlal in the first hallway of the crypt and maneouver the webs inwards so all the strands become white. New spoils! Head upstairs and use the dragon key on the dragon.

It is time to be getting explosion-y. Stuff the stick of dynamite into the ground slab, and then extend the wick with the explosive solution. Light er up, and down into the dungeon we go!

Our path is blocked, so take the shiny sparkly exit to the right.

OH DEAR. Somebody doesn't look too healthy....

Grab the useful items in the room. The bellows, you'll be glad to hear, will finally make the damn sack of flour some use to us. Fill the bellows with flour and head back downstairs. Use the bellows on the invisible beastie, and then use the tomb key on the plinth to the left side. Solve the puzzle; it's not too difficult. Just trial and error til the pieces fit in is easy enough.

Shove the mirror under the light ray, then head up into the crypt, and take the panel key. Use it on the panel to the right in the cocoon room. Time for things to heat up!

Take the boiler key, use it and the bellows on the boiler to make things hot. Fire up the pressure on the boiler and put the angled pipe on the gap to kill the monster. When things go haywire, grab the mirrored shield from the broken chest and head on up to the head honcho. Put the shield in the ray of light and you're done!

Thanks for the support by using my guide, and I hope this was helpful for you =)

The angel (if it is the one I think you mean) puzzle is just a matter of not letting angels of the same type clump up. If you number the angels left to right 1-6, you need to move 1-3 to the right and 4-6 to the left. Move 3 to the empty center, then hop over it with 4. Advance 5. Jump over 5 with 3 and 4 with 2. Now advance 1. 4 hops over 1, 5 over 2 and 6 over 3. 3 moves into its place at the end, then 2 jumps over 6, and 1 over 5. 5 moves to it's end place, then 6 and 1 can easily be sorted from there. Hope this helps.

Literally came here for a solution to the angel puzzle and you just skip over it. Pointless..

I got stuck during one section and checked the guide for help.

Oh, boy. I wasn't expecting to go back to the start to read it all just to laugh. I absolutely loved the guide and I'm glad I wasn't the only one having a "...?" and internally either wheezing or cringing at what's happening.

Love your humor, gonna leave an award, because you deserve it! :LIS_pixel_heart:

That dragon puzzle's clues are misleading. The two corner pieces show diagonal pieces, the bottom strip is for the top row. The top-middle piece is for the two bottom corners. Utterly confusing.

Very useful guide thank you

@Inspector Fowler Where I live, they're called secateurs! Shears are generally known to be much larger, while secateurs are more hand-held. Small language things are strange =) And Thank you for the correction, and for checking out my guide!

Just a minor correction. The alley with the car is to the right, not left.

Also I've no idea what secatauers are. But they're called Shears lol. I thought it was a typo until I noticed you have said it twice.
