Pyroland Protector Prop Pack

A collection of props from my 2012 Saxxy entry, "Whole Wheat Hardcase".


Most of the props in this pack are themed "whimsy", which means they use a creamy white/color palette and have minor cartoony features. Not enough to make them crazy, but they do have a bit of an otherworldy quality to them. All props have been compiled for both Hammer and SFM, but as is the nature of SFM, I cannot upload any physics models. Most props in this pack have been scaled for Sandvich, but can be upscaled for the TF2 team.

Almost all props are paintable as well. I figured you'd get more mileage out of the props if they had a wide range of colors to choose from.

Props listed with "(_static)" possess both animated and staticprop versions. Static verisons have no bones, and are more suitable for mapping.

prp_whimsy_chair(_static).mdl
-A cartoony wooden chair.
-Has a bone named "chair_top", which can be twisted/tweaked to make the chair bounce and stretch.
-Skin 2 is the "Super" skin, a version I was experimenting with to make the chair look like a Super Ball.
-Paintable.

-A cartoony wooden crate.

-A cartoony pair of metal doors attached to a door frame.
-Has bones for opening/closing the door.
-Has glass windows. You can override these to be solid by simply turning off transprency in Override Materials.
-Paintable.

-A cartoony metal dumpster.
-Has bones for opening the dumpster lids.
-Paintable.

-A policeman's crime scene flashlight.
-Skin 2 turns the light on.

-A large metal searchlight.
-Skin 2 turns the light on.
