I still have the Civ II manual (and the CD, of course). A very big book.

First time I ever played Civ was Civ 5, this is sick.

The reviews alone makes me not want to play Civilization VI. Also, I used to play Civilization 2 a long time ago, but I can not play this game anymore; although, I think that I only played basegame instead of expansion packs. Also, sometimes I wish that I had played Civilization 3 as well. It probably would have been fun to play similar Civilization 2 and only briefly played it once. I never played Civilization 4, but it looks potentially interesting to me.

Civilization VI is probably rated so poorly, because of its reduced quality content and I am pleasantly surprised that it has gone one for so long before Civilization VII. It is not that the cost of DLC that concerns me the most from Civilization VI, but its quality content. Civilization V in contrast seems tough on harder difficulty settings.

Fortunately you excluded Civ6 which is aweful and shall never be spoken of. Civ5 Brave New World is simply the best Civ so far.

Ah I miss the days of the SNES when it took you several months to beat a game

I grew up playing Civ 3. It is honestly such a vibe and has the best music of all of them lowkey. idc if they even have the same music. Civ 3 somehow better. especially that opening sequence music like mmmmm
