Steps to improve your skill
Counter-Strike is a multiplayer game and you probably won't have a good performance practicing just your aim and recoil. To have a good performance you should start practicing:

- Aim;
- Recoil;
- Game sense;
- Team plays;
- Flashes;
- Smokes;

I'll try to explain some ways to practice, but I suggest you to find other ways too...

Note: This guide is based on my knowledge about the game. I am not a professional player either a top player, I'm just helping begginers to improve their game.
Aim
"Aim" is one of the most important skills in the game, because if you have a good "aim" your reaction time will be better and you'll shot the target easier. So, if you have a good aim, you'll be able to kill your enemys easier, avoiding them from doing damage to you.

There are some ways to practice your aim:
- Practice on "Deathmatches FFA servers";
- Practice in "Community workshop maps" mades to aim practice;
- Pracite in online servers that allow "single shots";

"Deathmatches servers FFA":
Deathmatches FFA are different from the official servers. On it you'll be able to kill both your ally an enemies, so you'll kill a way more people than in normal servers. Increasing your kill ratio will help your aim such as your reaction time.

"Community workshop maps":
Knowing that the aim is important and looking to improve it, a lot of players on the community created maps to help you with the aim practice. They created maps where you'll have different ways to practice your aim, including precision, reaction time and weapon control.

"Serves that allow Single Shots":
The capacity to shot "Singles" is really important to your game, because it'll make you kill your enemy faster avoiding him doing damage to you or your allies. Servers that allow users to play with guns that are able to "Single Kill" like AK-47 or Desert Eagle all the time or the servers where players spawn without helmet, will help you a lot with this kind of practice, because you'll need to shot on the head to get the kill and your brain will adapt to the fact that you'll need to shot in the head all the time.

Mouse Sensibility

You need to adapt to your equipment, so I suggest you to use the map: aim_training_csgo (you will find it on the workshop). With this map, you'll be able to find a good mouse sensitivity, by training reaction time and aim. After that, you can go to a Deathmatch server and smash some heads.

Here's a really good video teaching some ways to practice your aim:

Recoil
The recoil practice is really simple, you just need to enter in a offline server with bots (you can kick them), and set these options:

- mp_startmoney 16000;
- sv_cheats 1;
- mp_freezetime 0;
- sv_infinite_ammo 2;
- sv_showimpacts 1;
- mp_restartgame 1;

Afer that, you'll need to buy a weapon to practice the recoil and just shot all the bullets on the wall (you can't move your mouse, just shot).
After shotting, you'll need to see the format that the bullets did on the wall, and after that, you'll try to shot again, but in this time, you'll move your mouse on the different way.
Example: If your weapon is going up, you'll need to move your mouse down. If your weapon is going to the left, you'll need to move to your mouse to the right.

Some videos that should help you with the recoil practice:

Game sense
Game sense is really important to your and your teammates game, because with a good game sense, you'll know when you can rotate to help your teammate in differents zones of the map such as take differents spots around the map.

To practice your "Game Sense" you'll need to watch a lot of "demos" and take a look on:

- Rotations;
- Spots/positions to hold as CT;
- Spots to take a look before rush as T;
- Learn the time to rush as CT or T;
- Learn the map points to do fast rushes as CT or T;
- Learn to work with the advantage (when your team have 1~4 more players alive);

To practice it, you'll just need to watch games, and see what the pro players are doing and try to copy it to your game. If you see that it's working you can keep it to your arsenal, if it's not good, keep practicing your other skills and try again in another time.

Team plays
Note: This section will just work if you have some friends to practice, if you don't have it'll be useless...

Team play is really usefull if you have a friend to practice trick plays.
Here some kinds of trick plays you can practice with your friends to get your enemies on their worst momment:
- Boosts;
- Flashes in your friend's back allowing him to kill your enemies;
- Rushing with two or more teammates;
- Supporting your teammates with flashes, smokes or covering some area;

These kinds of plays are really important to get kills and rounds. You'll get kills easier getting your enemy where he's not waiting you, so I'll tell just 2 example os trick plays:
- Boost on the short in the de_dust2, to the awper on top kill the low dark;
- Boost on the trash to the short right after the spawn, to the ct rush the short and get the T looking to mid or with knives/pistols on the hand.

There are thousands of trick plays, also, you and your friends can create your owns trick plays.

Here's a video with "Sean 'seang@res' Gares" (former Cloud9 IGL) teaching some team plays on T-Side on Dust2.

Flashes, Smokes and Molotovs
Knowing the pixels to do good flashes, smokes and molotovs is really usefull, because, with it you'll be able to hold a bomb such as rush and get the bomb easier.

- Flashes: It's important know how to use it when you're rushing/holding a bomb. When you're rushing it's important to know good flashes because the enemy will be forced to hide himself giving you the time to take your position. To hold the bomb, flash is usefull because it can make your enemy step back giving you the time to take a good position and giving you the time to wait for the team rotation.
Note: Flashes are better when you know walls to throw it, making it bang in front of your enemy, not giving them time to look to another way and get flashed hard.

- Smokes: They're really important in the rushes and holds, because it'll give an space where your enemy won't see you. If you're holding a bomb and you smoke a position where your enemy will pass, it'll probably hold the rush giving your the time to rotation. As T, if you smoke a knowed spot, sometimes it'll make that the CT change his position, so you'll be able to kill him offguard giving you sometimes the free bombsite.

- Molotovs: They're important to hold rushes, because the enemy won't run throght it, also, it can make your enemy change his position, so you'll be able to get him offguard.

There're a lot of videos on youtube teaching some trick flashes/smokes.

Here's a video with some flashes on dust2:

Easiest method: Go to your Steam game library, right click on Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, and click "Delete Local Content...".

Problem solved, no need for some huge guide.

I practiced for hours a day... days a week... weeks a month... months a year...
I read this guide, and got better.
Yesterday I was ranked Silver 1.
I also grabbed some cocaine, grabbed my keemstar and some amateur hacks.
Now I am Global Elite with a Global Cooldown.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience this.

Gosh people these days don't even know shit about CS. Saying this from a point of view from a guy who did a thing or two in the CS community. Not as a guy who wants to achieve the global elite.
