Introduction.
Block n Load, is a multiplayer game based on strategic gameplay and teammwork. For any good game, this is always required. Ive found Block n Load to be my second favourite game, aside from csgo. But that is aside the point. You're here to learn how to play.
Building defenses for your Cube(s)
In this part of the guide, I tell you how I find to be the most helpful, and the least helpful stratigies to defend your cube.
Good things that help you defend

What I find helps alot is building using traps, glue, and fake blocks. As a ninja, or nigel, you can swap out some blocks to get fake blocks. Any class can do this, but ninja and Nigel are the most helpful. Create a 2x2 or 3x3 square just outside your cube. (Screenshots will be at the bottom of the guide) Dig this hole about 5-6 blocks deep, then fill it with spikes and bear traps. If you are O.P Juan Shinobi, you can climb the wall to get out using SPRINT+W on the wall. If you arnt O.P, just use RECALL, which the hotkey is B by default. Be sure to stand still to recall, otherwise you will have to do it again. Also be in a safe spot. Use the character TONY, to build turrets for defenses for the cube. Having the cube out in the open, allows the turrets to have more VIEW RANGE of the cube, allowing them to defend more.

BOXING THE CUBE
Oh boy. There has been lots of rant about this one.
Rule number 1 in BnL (Block n Load) DONT BOX THE CUBE!!!!
Players who are looking to win HATE people who box the cube. Here is why.

Pros of Boxing the Cube
-The enemies will be delayed a little because they have to destroy a few layers of brick or sandbag. Sandbag is better for defending because it takes a while to destroy.
-Boxing the cube will defend you a VERY LITTLE from cogwheels MORTAR ability. Depending on how many layers you have.
-Protects the cube from rocket spammers (Sarge stone with his rocket launcher)
Cons of Boxing the Cube
-Enemies can hide in the box around your cube, causing it to be insanely hard to defend.
-As the enemies may be delayed a little, if the enemy is smart, they might block themselfs with 1-3 layers of blocks. Causing you to be delayed a little as well. 2 seconds, is all it takes to fail a mission. Time, is Power.
-If you dont have a radar, #1 could be even more difficult.
-More skilled players might be pretty P1$$3D off if you try to box the cube.
-Boxing the cube just wastes blocks. Precious blocks could be used to make traps, and turrets or healthstations. It really matters guys.
-The enemy can hide C4, Dynamite, and BIG BOMBS in the cube.
Teamwork
Teamwork plays a BIG role in BnL. Going from having smart defenses, to helping your defenders from incoming attackers. Please be sure to help your teammates, and listen to them. If someone is telling you not to do something like box the cube, please be sure to listen to them. What you need for good teamwork, is strong defenses, and strong offenses. If the defense players are having trouble defending, (Defense characters are NORMALLY DOC, NIGEL, and TONY. Obviously there are more, but these 3 are the most common from what ive seen) have some of the offense characters pull back and help you. If the offense people are having trouble attacking, and the defense people are fine, have 1 person from the defense crew go with the offense team, and launch a full force attack. Have COGWHEEL (if you have him on your team) use his mortar ability. PLEASE BE SURE TO BACK AWAY WHEN COGWHEEL USES HIS MORTAR ABILITY, IT CAN STILL TEAMKILL YOU. If you took NIGEL from the defense crew, or maybe he was already offense, have him use his ability (I cant remember the name of it) to spot the enemies hiding, and the enemies defenses. This gives the offense crew a HUGE advantage. But be sure to take advantage of it, it only lasts a few seconds. If TONY is defending, keep him there. He is a main defense guy, sometimes not the greatist on the offense. Depending on the player. Keep him by the cube, have the cube be open (See section one on defenses for your cube) so tony can use turrets for major defense. Nigel and Juan are responsible for bear traps and caltrops. These are used as a big advantage for defending.
Playing certain characters.
Depending if you like to stay in the back and help defend, some of the good characters to choose are DOC ELIZA, TONY, and NIGEL. (These are defense characters, mostly.) Nigel can be used as a sniper for defense, or can be used as an offense character. He's basicly neutral on the defend/offense sides. DOC is mostly a defense character. Doc uses gas bombs and sometimes bear traps to help defend. Tony is also a full on defense character. (If you have mastered the way of offensive tony, I clap for you.) Tony is used for placing turrets, but thats not all. He can use blocks for his turrets to cover them up. Not completely, but to make them harder to hit.

I play this game, but I havnt played really any special characters. I am only going by my knowledge, I dont know each and every single character

If you like rushing in going suicide, or sneaking around and wrecking face, here are some of the good characters to choose for offense.
Nigel: He is neutral, but he can be used as a sniper to help take out large enemies (Cogwheel, sweet science) with his sniper. His tiki class block, can be used as a huge defense (Which in my opinion, TIKI should be nerfed). The tiki causes slowness, bleed damage, messing up your vision, and a few other things.
Cogwheel: Cogwheel can be used for minigunning enemies and causing massive amounts of damage to big crowds. He can also be used for his grenade launcher weapon, which can be used as a long range rocket launcher. This can be used to damage the enemie's base, Enemies, or used for taking out turrests, bear traps, etc. He also has a mine which can be used as a defense.
Sweet Science: Im fairly new to the game myself, I only started last week. I dont have science unlocked nor have I ever played him before. But heres what ive seen/heard about him.
Sweet science has two pairs of gloves. One for charging, and one for pulling the enemies toward you. If you have gotten used to pulling enemies toward you, you can distract all the enemies, because you can take lots of damage, and do lots of damage. Pull the enemies towards you allowing offense characters to sneak past and destroy the enemie base.
O.P. Juan Shinobi: Juan can be used as a defensive or offensive character. Defensive as he can make a little whole to hide in, and when the enemie comes around, throw a shuriken causing bleed damage, then smacking him with his sword. Juan can be used for placing defensive things. Such as caltrops, fake blocks (See guide #1, Building defenses for your cube) and bear traps. Caltrops can be used for bleed damage and fake blocks can be used for this trap. Bear traps will eaither instantly kill an enemie, or will slow them down and take out a huge part of their health.
Obviously there are other classes to play, but I will make a seperate guide later containing EACH AND EVERY single class whether they should play offense or defense.

After you buy him, you can go into a game, and If I remember correctly, when you choose your character he is under skill. Just click him, and you will play as him. The game will remember this and will choose him for you everyirme automaticly. Whenever you want to switch characters just go to the pick your character section and choose any other character you wish.
