FIRING WEAPON
A. Before firing your weapon, make sure a round is chambered. Press the "Charging Handle" Key (Default Key "Right Shift") to pull the charging handle and load a round in chamber.

B. Change Rate of Fire (Semi, Auto) with the "Rate of Fire" Key (Default Key "Left Arrow" "Right Arrow") depending on the situation. Some triggers do not support Automatic mode

C. Press the "Fire3" Key (Default Key "MMB") down. The Fire3 Key simulates trigger movement.

D. With the "Fire3" Key Pressed, roll the scroll wheel button downward.

E. With sufficient trigger pull, the weapon should fire as long as there is a round in the chamber. Release the "Fire3" Key to release the trigger

F. Repeat to fire again.

TARGET ACQUISITION AND SIGHTS
A. Press the "Fire2" Key (Default Key "RMB") to aim through sights. Look at the middle image to aid in understanding. Release the "Fire2" Key to return back to normal view.

B. With the "Fire1" Key Pressed, move the mouse to change head position. Look at the last image. Note that changes in head position may results in parallax errors depending on the sights used.

C. With sufficient trigger pull, the weapon should fire as long as there is a round in the chamber. Release the "Fire3" Key to release the trigger. Upon release, a metal ping should be audible

Warning - When the head is moved with Fire1 button, it may give the illusion of weapon movement. This is not the case. The weapon is stationery and your head/view is moving.
It may also create parallax that may result in missed shots. For stock battle sights shown above, make sure that the front sight is also visible through your sight. Review advanced
topics for detailed information on parallax and sight control.
CHANGING MAGAZINE
A. Press the "Reload" Key (Default Key "R") to pull out your magazine. Let go of the "Reload" Key to insert it back.

B. Tap the "Reload" Key drop the current magazine. Take note that drop magazines are not retrievable.

C. Insert new magazine (There are eight, and Function Keys each represent magazines). For example, press F3 to insert the third magazine that you possess.

D. If you wish to keep the ejected magazine for later use, press Function Keys while in progress of procedure A

E. If the bolt carrier group is at a locked position, simply press the "Bolt Catch" key (Default Key "T") instead.

F. To check the chamber, press the "Check Chamber" Key (Default Key "F")

FIRE CONTROL FOR CLOSE TARGETS
When engaging a close target (45m ~ 80m), the ballistic characteristics of your weapon will mostly likely be negligible.

A. Shoot in short bursts of two or three and have a fresh clip loaded before breaking contact with a target at close range.

B. Pay attention to bullet impacts and tracers from your weapon as a guide and adjust to the target on the go.

C. Engaging a target at close range holds higher chances of collateral damage. Take note of your surroundings during combat.

D. Secure a safe distance and cover before using frag grenades or grenade launchers at this range.
FIRE CONTROL FOR MID-RANGE TARGETS
When engaging a mid-range target (120m ~ 250m), the following will come in to play.

A. If contact is expected, secure a vantage point to begin assault. Avoid breaking contact simply because the target is visible.

B. Shoot single rounds at the target with a lowest stance as possible. Make yourself a smaller target as much as possible.

C. Take note of the distance and impact point to guide your next shot.

D. If possible, move to a new vantage point often and do not stay exposed for a long time.

E. Use smoke grenades to draw/cover exposure.

F. Maintain the distance that your weapon system is best suited for.

The following images show a 1m x 1m target board each at 3m, 120m and 120m with a X2 fixed magnification scope.
Take note of the size of the target proportionally decreasing over distance.

FIRE CONTROL FOR OUT-OF-RANGE TARGETS
When engaging a target outside of your weapon's effective range, it is highly unlikely that your weapon system will be able to deliver.

A. Shooting at a target out of range will cost more ammunition to have the same effect.

B. You are drawing enemy's attention at a distance that you cannot effectively engage at.

C. It tells the target that your weapon system is not capable of that particular distance. This may prove to be lethal as the target may choose not to let you get closer.

D. Target may proactively take a defensive position making him a smaller target.
