You could try to hide the weapons in the visible weapons on the ship and I'd suggest hiding all else inside the ship. Its ultimately up to you where they should go and it looks good on the out side, then the out side it should go. My more animated ships should have their equipment hidden as the equipment doesn't animate with the part.

So, I'm using all sorts of ship models that I import to my game but I never really figuyre out where to put all the modules on them. Is this designed to put them in specific spots or just designed so that I should put on all modules and hide them with the smallest size?
