when you mod the weapon it looks like the one from F3 and FNV

@tankerxs: I printed most of the gun in ColorFabb 'Shining Silver' PLA-PHA, and the grip in Push Plastic 'Fatigue Green' PLA. The ColorFabb filament is just too expensive to use on large scale stuff like this though, which is why I need to put some money into an airbrush and a compressor so I can just paint props like this. (Top quality black or white PLA costs less than half as much!) If the basic mass-production paintjob on the mini-nuke is any indication, paint can work miracles when it comes to making plastic look good.

I missed the Pip-Boy Edition the first time around...which was really stupid of me because Amazon doesn't charge until it ships; I didn't have to worry about whether or not I had the money! The moment I'd heard they'd ramped up production and Amazon/GameStop were doing a second round of preorders, I ordered it so hard.

I guess you are correct, becuse in Boston there are a lot more synths, weapon mods and more weapons; Tec stuff.

Also, what is it made of?

@tankerxs: Yeah I've been wondering about the redesign. I guess it could just be that it's supposed to be a different brand of 10mm pistol, or something... But the idea that the difference then indicates some regional preference in gun brands sort of goes out the window because the old one was in both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and 3 and 4 don't take place that far apart, geographically.

Maybe the other design is older, and this one represents the fact that the Boston area seems to have more recent pre-war tech intact? (Boston obviously not being a strategic nuclear target like the Capital Wasteland was.)

True, but at least the anthology seems to have been made in mass production quantities. And hey, you could probably get someone like me to sell you a 3D printed Pip-Boy. ;) (I need to get an airbrush so I can paint the props I make...but after that, I hope to start offering replica game/anime/movie props on etsy and eBay!)

Seriously, people. It's FIFTY BUCKS, for five games and one of the most awesome and USEFUL-- all the games store inside! Even Fallout 4! --collector's pieces I've ever seen... It's not like it's the Pip-Boy Edition or something...though if you're not getting that too, you might as well be a console peasant ...just sayin'. #PCMasterRace

It's so ridiculously cheap that I'm buying a second one. Makes more sense than buying the games here on Steam when they're not on sale!
