Playing without these black borders:
Is fairly simple, but not many know of it, or at least I think so, it doesn't seem like it when I read forum posts here or on other places.

So anyway, if you want to play like this:

Then all you gotta do is change your computers resolution
To do it, simply go to your desktop, right click it and click "Change Resolution"-

Resolutions that I know works
  • 800x600 - This is the game's native resolution.
  • 1024x768 - Quality loss a possibility.

I've compared the two and I can't see a difference in image quality, they actually look identical to me when you play, will probably start using 800x600 now though as I used the other before, so I know for sure I'm using the best resolution.


My eyesight is not the best so bare that in mind and use 800x600 for certain best quality.

Changed the guide around a bit.
Added 800x600 resolution, which is the game's native resolution, due as Waryth pointed out, there might be quality loss using higher.
Personally I can't see it though, they look identical to me to be honest, but my eyesight ain't the best.

A good simple solution however, the game will stretch out and might not show up in best quality. Only do this if you prefer no borders over high quality.
