Changes to enemies
Expert mode's rating is Teen (Same as Minecraft Realms), and enemies have their health doubled.

The following will change:
-Bats and Duke Fishron can inflict the Feral Bite debuff, which increases dealt damage but lowers life regeneration. This debuff can provide extra six debuffs.
-Zombies can carry a zombie arm, which deals 30 damage.
-Skeletons are able to throw bones like the Skeleton Merchant.
-When a lava slime dies, it leaves behind a block of lava.
-Jellyfish can shock you!
-Spiked Slimes are able to shoot 6 spikes.
-Black Recluses can do extra spit attacking.
Boss Treasures
- The royal gel is dropped by king slime, causing most types of slimes to become friendly.
- The shield of cthulhu is dropped by the big eye. It allows the holder to dash into enemies. It increases defense by 2.
- The worm scarf makes you 17% more immune. It is dropped by the eater of worlds.
- The brain of confusion is dropped by the Brain of Cthulhu. It makes you capable of inflicting the Confused debuff.
- The bone glove is dropped by Skeletron, and it allows you to throw bones like skeletons do.
- The Hive Pack is dropped by Queen Bee.
- The Demon heart is given to you when Hardmode is activated. It adds a sixth accesory slot which only appears in expert mode.
- There are three mechanical cart pieces: The wagon piece is dropped by the Destroyer. The twins drop the wheel piece. The battery piece is dropped by Skeletron Prime.
- Plantera will drop a treasure bag that includes the Spore Sac, which summons spores.
- The golem will drop the Shiny Stone, which greatly increases life regeneration when you are not moving.
- The luntaic cultist doesn't drop a treasure bag yet.
- Duke Fishron drops an endless mount called the Shrimpy Truffle. It has endless flying.
- The Moon Lord treasure bag contains two expert items: The gravity globe and suspicious looking tentacle.
Other Changes
- Dying causes you to lose an extra quarter of your coins.
- Enemies can pick your coins up.
- Defense is more effective.
- The Brain of Cthulhu can inflict more debuffs.
- Duke fishron has a third stage.
- Normal respawns are 15 seconds, and boss fight respawns are a half minute.
- Pots drop more stuff.
- Fishing rewards give more money.
Trivia
- Elliot Talsgen is an example of a character who only appears in expert mode.
- Enfardo will gain a confusion ability in EM.
- On 1/30/2016, Enfardo battled King Slime more than 5 times in Greater Foes.
- Ankh Charm and Ankh shield accesories prevent the Feral Bite debuff from applying other debuffs.

the only thing in expert mode i've yet to tackle is duke fishron.... who i also still haven't tackled proper in normal mode. X_X
