Beating The First Level
Beating the first level is extremely tough, but there is one way to do it easily.
  1. Kill some monsters. The first few should be fairly easy, since you one-shot them all, but it gets harder when they start ganging up on you.
  2. Once your Inventory is about halfway full, use your home portal defensive spell. (RMB)
  3. All of your loot stays with you when you return, so when you get back to the main menu screen, use the items you have to craft gear.
  4. Once you have some gear, go back into the first dungeon. You still one-shot all of the regular monsters, and the larger monsters should be quite a bit easier.
  5. Beat the level.
  6. Do a happy dance.
Rest of The Game
After you have beaten the first level in the manner described, the rest of the game is quite easy, as long as you remember to keep crafting weapons. The shop, and therefore gold, is completely unnecessary and a waste of your time.

its not as bad as slaughtering grounds im actually enjoying this game as odd as that may be lol i ahve to say they improved on what ever coding they did cause im not crashing any

How can you not beat the first level? Once you get 1-2 items you are so immensely overpowered i could beat it blindfolded.

I could, but this guide is for people who are some reason having difficulty beating the first level.

you could shorten this guide to: 1. find enemies 2. shoot 3. are they dead? if not run backwards and repeat step 2. if yes, repeat step 1. As for bosses, just shoot em up till they die, you can likely tank them if you hit them with a handful of shots at a distance before they reach you. I beat the first level on the first try without any gear, using the first 2 spells.
