Omschrijving
I made this map to test the viability of including ships in map design. It's difficult, and I'm not sure how well this map will be received but I'm hoping that other map makers may get ideas from it to be able to make similiar maps.

There's a cargo ship, battleship, destroyer, and 3 barges getting tugged through the locks of a canal. Fight your way around them and on them. Let me know if you have ideas or run into any problems. Thanks!

Your cargo ship is very impressive, I'm trying to copy and paste it into a map I'm making which it'd be perfect for (Because I don't have the skill to make one from scratch!), but even using the stamp tool it is extremely difficult! Plus I have to shorten the ship length or it won't fit in my map :'(

It seems like the ship is tailored grid square by grid square to where you've put it, if you try paste it anywhere else then the ship wall doesn't show through properly, it's overridden by general terrain height; try to shave the terrain off a square so you can see the ship wall... it goes too far and there's a hole inside the ship! Ah well, good work in any case, you are a very skilled mapper

i hope its chokepointy if it is im gonna love this map. if not thats my fault for preffering those types of maps none of the map makers

oh im sorry to hear that, maybe you can use the STAMP tool to fix into another part of the map etc.

Actually I was doing an aircraft carrier map Screenshot But it's very difficult to work the ship into the map for a few different reasons and so I abandoned the idea for the time being.

OK!...wow, we have played you map and reviewed it... and all I can say is wow!... I can tell you used some clever interesting ways to map this map appear real. All you need to do now is map a map with a aircraft carrier that we can fight on and you! would be the new mapping KING!

nice! very nice, but the idea of making was already done a year ago by me! in my map called Beach Head, not original but very good indeed. Your ships are more creative then mine where. I see you came up with a better way of making them appear as ships. When I first did this WorldBuilder didnt have some of the objects used in this map. It was limited. However you will get your wish, I've seen others atempt maps such as this, seeing how WB is getting better and more user friendly. great job!
