If that's the case then yea I can totally agree. Energy weapons are introduced like they would be viable in the tutorial and are all neat with settings and unlimited ammo.... But wait, there's only like 2 and one ONLY does EMP damage, leaving your only option being the dinky pew pew pistol. Energy weapon builds are just not very viable. (Even the freaking lightsaber is outclassed by a hunk of rock. Haha)
It's no wonder Andrew Ryan didn't wanna mess with em in Rapture.
