Firstly, if you are having issues with Smite authenticating your game for updates and what not, do the following.

Go To
Start Menu>Services.msc>Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service>Start

Then start your game (launcher) in administrator.

This guide may or may not work, it is simply something i figured out that may help others.
