Introduction

Note: There have been look-a-like copycat guides popping up. If it's not labeled by THN (The Horror Network), it's NOT one of mine and therefore not up to the quality that I aim to provide.

Welcome to the Rogue Warrior achievement guide.

This game isn't incredibly difficult by any means, even on the hardest difficulty setting (Elites). Especially if you are familiar with FPS games in general, this title should be a breeze for you. However, prepare to set aside time to run through the game three separate times, as the difficulty achievements do not stack.

The only issue you will have here is finding people to boost the online achievements with. At this time, there is a dedicated multiplayer group for Rogue Warrior. Please refer to the discussions within the Rogue Warrior Steam forum for more information on that, as it could change in the future.

Before we get started, let me say that I personally recommend beginning on Elites difficulty. The remaining two difficulties will seem easier and breezier when you get to them, and it's always good to get the "hard" stuff out of the way first.

Demo D i c k
Complete the game on Elites difficulty.
You will need to complete the game three separate times in order to obtain all of the difficulty related achievements. This shouldn't take too long, given that the game is fairly short. I highly recommend starting on Elites difficulty and working your way down. Elites will take you the longest, although the game isn't hard at all by the standards of the rest of the FPS game population. Simply stay crouched at all times, take out as many enemies via stealth (either kill moves or silenced pistol) as you can, take advantage of cover and take your time. Enemies can come out of no where at times. The AI is also incredibly stupid. The enemies will rarely move, even if you lob a grenade at them.
Kill Related
Double Tap
Complete an entire mission using only the pistol. (Single Player)
Save this achievement for your easy (Recruits) playthrough. This is easily done during the first level. Simply kill all enemies with your pistol. DO NOT use kill moves or grenades.

Guns Don't Kill People, SEALs Do
Kill 30 enemies using sniper rifles. (Single Player)
The Druganov is the sniper rifle in Rogue Warrior. A great place to farm this achievement is in the first level. You will come to a window with an enemy in front of it, take out the enemy and there will be a Druganov. Look down through the window and you will see a courtyard housing 4 enemies. Take out the enemies with the gun, go down into the courtyard and kill the 4 more enemies that break down the door. Reload your checkpoint until you net the achievement.

Come Get Some!
Kill 5 enemies with a shotgun without reloading or changing weapons. (Single Player)
Best left for when you're running on an easier difficulty. Grab a shotgun, run up to an enemy and pull the trigger five times. If you suck with the shotgun, use the SPAS 12 as it holds eight rounds.

Military Budget
Kill 5 enemies with an assault rifle without reloading or changing weapons. (Single Player)
Save this achievement for when you're on one of the easier difficulties, as enemies don't require as many shots to take down. Aim for the head and barely squeeze the trigger to control how many rounds you expend. Not difficult by any means.

Getting Your Gun Off
Kill at least one enemy with every weapon in the game. (Single Player)
I'm pretty certain that this achievement unlocked for me before I used all of the weapons, as I know that I received it prior to level 5 however that is the first level in which you can use the TT-33 gun. If you don't wish to use a list for this one, just pick up every new gun that you find and use it to kill at least one enemy.

Mission 1 Weapons:
SAP9, SM5, Knife (kill move), Grenade, AK74, OTS-02, PECHENEG, Type 97-1, Dragunov
Mission 3 Weapons:
SPAS 12, AR 4, GM-94
Mission 5 Weapons:
TT-33

Supressing Fire
Kill 20 enemies using blindfire. (Single Player)
This one can be frustrating, as the aiming and blindfire mechanics in this game suck horribly. Simply get behind cover (LB) and then hold RT to blindfire from around cover. This may take some time, but any time an enemy is out in the open, take advantage of it with blindfire.

Frag Out!
Kill 20 enemies using grenades. (Single Player)
Don't be shy about using your grenades. In fact, often times the cruddy AI will just stand by the grenade that you lob, or they'll even run into it. You should get this one about halfway through if you're not saving them for a rainy day.

Curb-Stomper
Perform 5 Finishing moves. (Single Player)
This can be a little frustrating, as you must make an enemy fall to the ground without killing them AND you need to get to them before they bleed out. The best way is to shoot them a couple of times in the chest until they fall. The enemy will start firing at you in a "last stand" position. Run up to them and you will be prompted to do a finishing move. Do it five times.

Now THIS is a Knife
Kill 30 enemies using kill moves. (Single Player)
During your hard (Elites) playthrough, stealth is your best friend. Stealth kill (walk up behind them and press A) as many baddies as possible during this run, and this achievement should be yours far before the end of the game.

Ninja
Perform 3 Kill moves in a row. (Single Player)
Easy peasy, you should be able to do this right at the beginning of the first mission, no matter what difficulty you're playing on.

Never Knew What Hit Them
Kill 50 unalerted enemies. (Single Player)
This will come with time while you aim for the Now THIS is a Knife achievement. Unalerted enemies appear as green dots on your map. Simply walk up to them and stealth kill them, or headshot them with your silenced pistol, and this achievement will be yours near the end of the game.

Migraine Breaker
Kill 50 enemies with head shots. (Single Player)
While you are going for your unalerted enemy kills, you should get this along the way. Even when you're shooting sporadically at enemies, you can net a headshot and not even realize it. This should come without much difficulty, but if the aiming mechanics are giving you problems you can always kill the first three enemies on the first level over and over until the achievement pops.

Improv
Kill 20 enemies using explosive objects. (Single Player)
This one can be quite frustrating, simply because you will think that an enemy is close enough to the container to get killed by the explosion, but some piece of rubbish will be protecting them. Keep your eye out for large red barrels with explosive signs on them, and anytime an enemy is near it, shoot it. Also, enemies who are killed by car explosions will count toward this achievement.

Chop-Shop
Destroy 10 vehicles. (Single Player)
Any time you see a vehicle, pump some rounds into it and make it explode. There are tons of cars and trucks in levels 6 and 8.

Health and Safety
Blow up 20 fire extinguishers. (Single Player)
There are tons of fire extinguishers located throughout Rogue Warrior. Just keep your eye out for something red on the wall. When you see one, shoot it. If you happen to be neglectful, level 7 is a great place to farm this achievement. Halfway through the level, you will reach a room with 3 soldiers in it. This room houses 5 fire extinguishers. Shoot them and reload your checkpoint until you grab the achievement.

Gang-Bang
Kill a group of 4 enemies with a grenade. (Single Player)
Since the AI is so stupid, you shouldn't have much difficulty with this one. However, here are the best locations in which to attain the achievement:

Mission 1:
After you take out the four enemies in the courtyard, head to the door that gets broken down. Time your throw correctly and you can wipe out the four new enemies with a grenade.

Mission 8:
Neaer the end when you set the third charge a gate will open. Four guys will start coming in. If you set the charge and then run and throw a grenade at the gate quickly, it will kill the enemies before they have a chance to spread out.
Kill Related Cont'd
Are These Guys for Real?
Kill 50 Spetznaz. (Single Player)
The Spetznaz are enemies that have armor and helmets. They show up during later missions. You really won't even have to try to net this achievement, it should just come through natural game progression.

Over the Top
Throw an enemy over a ledge. (Single Player)
Your first opportunity for this is in level one, right before you descend into the courtyard. This should be unmissable, honestly... the guy is leaning over the window. Just perform a stealth kill on him.

Not the Face
Smash an enemy's face into a wall. (Single Player)
A great opportunity on the first level, you will come to an outpost with one single guard. He will be next to a wall. Walk up to him and stealth kill him for this achievement.
