Rescue 2 Refit - Assault Ship

The Rescue 2 has every thing you need in a spawn ship. If you spend the time and resources you can turn one in to an Elysium Raider . But what can you do with one on the fly? HG Industries is proud to present (something I original did for $hits and giggles) an Assault Ship!

The ship is very close to the original. The goal was to build a cheap, expendable, no frills, early game warship, that anyone could throw together. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ! ! !


- 2x Small Cargo Containers
- 3x Small Reactors
- 2x Gyroscopes
- 1x Oxygen Generator
- 2x Gatling Turrets
- 2x Missile Turrets
- 2x Interior Turrets
- 1x Rocket Launcher

The Majority of the ship is constructed of light armor. Heavy Armor has been added in key locations for extra protection. Surprisingly this ship can take a good deal of incoming fire, I have successfully used this ship to take out the defenses of a pirate base, and have engaged numerous military ship and have survived (was able to RTB).

Reactors and gyroscopes have been offset to ensure a good direct hit does not knock the ship out of action. Plus key parts of the ship are protected by heavy armor which increases their odds of survival. This ship can take a beating, and providing you have cockpit, a gyroscope and a few working thrusters you can make it home.

So if you want a cheap, expendable, no frills, warship this is it!
