What Is Your Hosts FIle?
The Hosts file can be used to route (and prevent unwanted) connections. In this case, advertisement and phishing servers. You can add any domain to this file to block it from your computer.
Finding Your Hosts File
The location of the Hosts file in the file system hierarchy varies by operating system. It is usually named hosts, without an extension.

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
(See the included chart to find yours).

Replacing Your Hosts File
After locating your Hosts file, visit

and download mine. Replace the old Hosts file with the new one if you have Administrative access.
Or Open it with Notepad (as an Administrator) and copy/paste the desired domains into the existing (old) file, then save, ensuring it's as "All Files"

Add the domains of anything undesired in this format:
127.0.0.1 www.google.com
127.0.0.1 google.com

I found and fixed the YouTube issue myself when I realized the videos weren't loading. I can't fix your CAPTCHA issue because I haven't had it, meaning it's very probably not a result of this Guide. Though you could Inspect webpages and cross-reference the domain(s) in question. If you do wish to unblock entries in Hosts, just add a # in front of the line.

Thanks for that fix, now another note is certain sites request that you verify yourself as human and do the captcha (For example Steam, Scrap.tf and so on) These captcha's either don't show up or get stuck and verifying.

Updated Hosts to fix broken YouTube
