Heroism: The un-grindy way
By Renalith
This guide is simply about getting Heroism points without getting completely bored.

..Also apparently Heroism DOES NOT remove demonism, but the some of these actions will remove it. So there, I guess.

Extractions
The simplest way to gain heroism is to Fulton extract the following:
Animals
Prisoners
Little child soldiers in Africa
Enemies
For getting heroism from enemies, the best way is to hold them up (approach from behind and aim your weapon at their back) and then interrogating them.
Both of these actions give you +5 heroism each. I recommend this in largely populated areas for the high yield by the end of the area.
Outposts and Missions
For capturing an outpost, depending on it's type you can get a very high amount of Heroism.
Using the tactic above, stated in the "Enemies" section, you can get over 50 Heroism from every outpost in the game, the larger bases having around 300 heroism as a reward.
Also using the tactic in the "Enemies" section, you can complete campaign missions only with hold-ups. This can give you enormous amounts of points.

However, the best way to get heroism that I know of, is to complete all the objectives possible in a mission.
Nuclear Weapons
So I got a comment that you can steal and dispose of nuclear weapons from other players.

1k per nuke apparently, and 30k every 10 nukes (40k? by my count)

Heroism points have no bearing on demon points, though many actions that grant you heroism also remove demon points. In the "enemies" and "outposts" section of your guide, these actions grant you heroism, but do not take away demon points. Other than those sections, your guide is correct.

Suppose that's something to consider.

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

So, if I go around pointing a water gun sticking people up and interrogating them, people will call me a hero and celabrate my name?

Neat!

I think its 10000 for single nuke and 30000 every tenth

If you steal and dismantle a nuke (from someones FOB) you'll get a gorillion heroism and every 10 nukes you'll get super bonus gorillion heroism
