What is JoyToKey?

JoyToKey (or Joy2Key) enables PC game controllers to emulate a mouse and the keyboard input, so that windows applications and web games can be controlled with your favorite joysticks! Whenever joystick buttons and sticks are pressed, JoyToKey converts them into keyboard strokes and/or mouse movements so that the targeted application will work as if you are using a real keyboard and a mouse!.

Ok so to start with you will need to download the free sharware file JoyToKey from the link below to download there exellent software which i have found to work flawlesly with Waste Walkers.
You will need to unzip the downloaded file to a prefered place (a new folder on your desktop for ease).

This is how JoyToKey will look once opened up**(see pic at the bottom of the page)ready to bind your keys to your preffered control pad,i can confirm it works with Xbox 360 pads and should also work with any other type of control you have connected to your pc, even a joystick like my HOTAS flight stick that was picked up hence the joystick 2 tab in the sample picture.

Ok so i configured my Xbox 360 pad like this as you can see all info here in the sample picture below,
it is simple just click the Bulk Assignment box* (see example below) in the bottom right corner of Joy2Key,and then press the coresponding keys on your keyboard each box pops up as you finish each keyboard keypress which is replicating the keyboard keybinds of the game to your gamepad (this example of my keybinds is for my Xbox 360 pad).
Stick 1: Control your toon with left thumbstick (press left,right,up,down arrow keys) for the first 4 Stick 1 in the list.
Stick 2:Skip this stick 2 by clicking skip until you see POV:
POV: This can be used if you want to control your toon with the Direction pad on your control, up,down,left,right as before.
Button 1:Select, Enter is used for button 1 which is the A button on your pad.
Button 2:Menu/Cancel ,Escape is used for button 2 which is the B button on your pad.
Button 3:Sprint ,Shift is used for button 3 which is the X button on your control pad.
Button 4:Skip this button.
Button 5:Fullscreen/Windowed ,F5 is used for button 5 which is LB (left shoulder) on your pad.
Button 6:Change Resolution ,F6 is used for button 6 which is RB (right Shoulder) on your pad.

And that is it your done ,all default keyboard and mouse keybinds now bound to your Gamepad.
Don't forget you can set the binds to the buttons you prefer but this guide is what i have tried and tested with my Xbox 360 pad and feels good in game.
