Crosshair Placement
You probably heard of crosshair placement alot. Almost all silvers and some novas don't aim at head level. It is important that you aim at head level!!!! The reason behind this is if you aim at head level it's less movement you have to do with your mouse. In example, if you aim at the ground and you wanna go for headshots, your gonan have to move your crosshair up to their head. However, if you aim at headlevel you will have to move your mouse less. (Examples Below)
What Weapons To Have Out & When
You should never, never have your knife out all the time. Many times I and many see people get killed be cause they're running around a corner with a knife out
Then the person will either get mad or claim that the guy was wallhacking! Well you should really never have your knife out except for when you are running out of spawn after buy time. Let's say you and your teammate are rotating because the bomb was just planted at the other site. What you should have out is your primary or your secondary. (But mostly have your primary out.)
Wasting Nades
Another thing I see happen is a guy/girl buys full nades. He's running long as a ct on dust2, and he throws all of his nades! You should try to save your nades from when you need them.
Smoke Grenade
: Use the smoke grenade when defending a site or when stopping a push.
Flashbang
: Use your flash when you have 1 or more enemies pushing you.
HE Grenade
: Use it when you know there are enemies pushing you or a site.
Molotov / incendiary
: Use this like a smoke, not only for delaying them, but dealing damage. (You can also use to slow/stop a defuse! :D)

Here's a scenario, if it's the end of the round, pick up a nade if you can! Don't throw it away save it for the next round!
Calm Down Le Bhops
If you know how to bhop great! But don't be that one douche who does it the entire game. There are far greater things to do to win the round instead of trying to be lolyou! Also you should only bhop in the beginning of the round, but it only is helpful if you can get over 300 velocity.(Check it using cl_showpos 1)
Be Positive!
Even if you feel like messin' with people and being salty, don't. Just be positive, it can greatly improve you and your teams' gameplay.
Communication
If you have a mic
  • Use this sentance template, "At least x y." x people you saw y where they are.
  • Don't scream or ramble like this, "THEY'RE HERE, HURRY ROTATE YOU SUCK."
Please don't follow number 2, it makes no sense to say they're here. Think about this. How many did you see and where were they.

If you don't have a mic
  • Get one!
You may not have money but there are alternatives! Like if you have a smart phone or tablet there are apps that allow you to use the mic on the device that sends it to your computer!
Warm Up!
Don't be that one guy who came back from a a 5 month break and plays horribly, then says, "sorry I'm playing bad, haven't played in a while," the whole game. Play at least a game of deathmatch. I'm not gonna go into full detail, but I reccomend, ffa headshot servers, deathmatch, and surf servers! Surfing teaches you to aim where is important (i.e. head level!)
Communication
It is always good to communicate with your teammates, but not all the time. For example, if you want to tell your teammates about where (an) enemy(ies) are you should say something along the lines of this, "(amount) (site)." [Example: 4 b, All Apps] If they have a weapon that you think would be significant for your teammates to know say the weapon, i.e., awp, auto, pistols(on rounds other than pistol round).

If you're dead DO NOT TALK

I'm sure everyone has had there moments when you're about to clutch and some guys starts talking (exagerated) like, "SO I THINK I SAW A GUY RAMP BUT I THINK HE WENT ARROUND THE MAP THEN..." Chill. There is only 1 time when you should talk when you're dead, and that is when you absolutely know where (an) enemy(ies) are/is.
What not to say
Everyone has at least had a game where they have someone on there team who goes negative and everytime he dies he says, "sorry guys I haven't warmed up yet." Do not let your teammates know that you didn't warm up if you haven't, just say you're skill is off today. Or even better, warm up before you play even just a little bit, but one of the few things to ruin your teammates belief of winning is that you didn't warm up.
