A QUICK GUIDE TO AVOID THE UPLAY LAUNCHER CRASHING PROBLEM

Hello. I have a quick guide for all the people that can't play the game because of UPLAY crashing.
Try this:

Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher" then right click on "Uplay.exe" and click launch as admin.

When Uplay starts up, it should not crash crash. Then register and login.

After that, you need to launch Driver San Francisco from steam, and UPLAY will ask you for the code that Steam gave you. When the code is activated, you can play.
If the launcher crashes again in the future, do step 1. again :)

I just ran this after 4 years and it fired right up WOW glad I got it way back when ,Its sad to see its fate.It is a #1 release compared to the garbage of the last few years

shit like this is why i TRY Not to buy games that need launchers other then steam.
Sadly that means pretty much any ubisoft games made after 2014 i won 't buy.........wanted the crew 2 on PC but most likely just going to get the Xbox version.

fuck sake, my game, when launching will say there is an error with the files, then say that there is a uplay error and stop launching the game. Fuck you steam, i paid good money for a game that doesnt work. Help

i have NO option to enter turn left/right for my Thrustmaster TMX Wheel. i have to set up as a generic "wheel", i can enter all the buttons except there is no left/right option? San Fran DEVs in late stage AIDS or just at the bath house the day they were sposed to program the wheel?

everything i have done dont work done everthing in the comments dont work comes up libdef.dill is missing and still comes up cannot connect to ubsoft >:( its 3 am here been trying to get this spastic shit working for 5 hours now NOT HAPPY

It crashes at the very statr of it. I click the play tab and then after e few seconds it says something about the Ubisoft then it wont load.

the game is not working with me .. i need the activation code ,,and i didn't reveive it yet T^T
