[OUTDATED] Guide on running Rocket League on a Potato

ROCKET LEAGUE UPDATE 1.11! NOT WORKING ANYMORE!
The new Rocket League update changed how the textures work, so this tweak doesnt work properly anymore. It'll still make the game look simpler, but not to the extent it used to. I don't have the time to look for a fix at the moment. So if anyone manages to get this guide to work again pm me and I'll update this and give credit.

What is this?
This Mod will disable textures from being loaded in a good quality, and only be displayed as one solid color.

How do I get this?
1. Go to your Rocket League installation folder. (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\)

2. Now open the "TAGame" folder and the "Config" folder.

3. Spot the "DefaultSystemSettings.ini".

4. Create a backup of the "DefaultSystemSettings.ini", by copying it and rename it to "DefaultSystemSettingsBACKUP.ini" (or something like that).

5. Now open your original "DefaultSystemSettings.ini" with any text editor and replace the content from TEXTUREGROUP_Character to just before [SystemSettingsEditor] with THIS[pastebin.com]. The file has to be called "DefaultSystemSettings.ini".

I want to customize my Potato League!
Here are some of the things you can change in the "DefaultSystemSettings.ini":

TEXTUREGROUP_Effects
(make the effects, like the bubble trail, high quality again)

TEXTUREGROUP_RenderTarget
(make the ball high quality again, he will still have only one color and blink as whole...)

TEXTUREGROUP_Vehicle
TEXTUREGROUP_VehicleNormalMap
TEXTUREGROUP_VehicleSpecular
(make some cars look alright again, i really dont know why the devs added textures of some cars to the TEXTUREGROUP_World instead TEXTUREGROUP_Vehicle)

TEXTUREGROUP_Cinematic
(adds the lines on the ground)

TEXTUREGROUP_World
TEXTUREGROUP_WorldNormalMap
TEXTUREGROUP_WorldSpecular
(dont change these since these are the main factor the game looks so simple, but like i said, some car textures are grouped to TEXTUREGROUP_World instead of TEXTUREGROUP_Vehicle, thats why i cant make highrez cars+simple world happen...)

To change the stuff you have to replace the (MinLODSize=0,MaxLODSize=0,LODBias=0) after the = with one of these (or type a size yourself):

Low: (MinLODSize=1,MaxLODSize=512,LODBias=0)
Medium: (MinLODSize=1,MaxLODSize=1024,LODBias=0)
High: (MinLODSize=1,MaxLODSize=2048,LODBias=0)

lowspecgamer has uploaded a new video about rocket league, it helps alot, it basicly scales down the resolution even more making everything very pixelated, but it REALLY helps alot, got to 30-40 fps to a smooth 60, with around 40 fps on the starbase and aquariumdome ( hate those maps)
