First, let me explain. No wait, that takes too long, let me sum up.
This is Private Luke of the ISMC 81st Division. I was separated from my team when something pulled our warpship out of warp mid-travel, crashing us into an asteroid. I found an escape pod and made my way to a nice man's base. His name is Shikashi or Shika. Nice guy, in my opinion.

Day One -------
Shikashi is a talkative dude, but at the same time he doesn't understand english very well, so our conversations require constant explanation. From reading "Diary of a Space Drifter", I for one am not going to complain about company.

Our station is quite developed already. It has refineries, arc furnaces, solar panels, all the usual. But we do have one small, yellow miner that I will operate and a larger miner with three drills that Shikashi will command, as well as two other ships with assemblers and stuff in case of a huge emergency. As I write this, Shikashi works on a small welding ship.

I've spent enough time fiddling with this diary. I need to help out with mining!

Day Two -------
Well, the main base is bigger now. Shikashi plans on making it an actual walk-in base. However, he also made another smaller base out there on another rich asteroid for me too. So far I have made a projector for creating miners and other useful ships, and I am working on a solar recharging station.






Day 3
I just learned today that the small mining ship I own is a derelict. It's a good ship, but it started acting weirdly ever
since I broke the drill on it. Sometimes the lights wont work, or I'll find it in a place a little bit different than where I remember parking it.


On the bright side, the main base is a walk-in base! It doesn't have oxygen yet though. At most, it has a medical bay with oxygen.
