Starters
When starting the game you'll be asked to name your pot, choose a design for it, and choose a starter to plant on it.

1 Aloe 'Blue Elf'
2 Pachyphytum glutinicaule
3 Sempervivum
4 Pachyphytum hookeri
(from my original pot)

1 Aloe vera
2 Aeonium
3 Pachyphytum fittkaui
4 Echeveria glauca
(from my grove pot)

1 Agave 'Blue Glow'
2 Kalanchoe rotundifolia
2 Sedum Pachyphylum
2 Echeveria 'Lola' (green)
3 Echeveria 'Lola' (purple)
(from Chamaeleonx's original pot)
Pot interactions

As you start with your original pot you'll be able to see some weeds growing on your pot. You can delete them just buy clicking 'x'. The succulents will be thirsty, just click on them and you'll see. To water them just click the spray bottle (right); just be careful not to overwater them. (Nope, don't water the snail)

You can sing to the succulents, or to the snail if you want, just click on it and then zoom in.
You can also reposition them, just click on the them and then click the icon with the plant and an arrow pointing up (left).

This summarizes everything that you'll be doing while waiting for the succulents to mature.
You might have to visit your pot every three days to do some gardening tasks. (I don't know how long the succulents can last without water, or how the weeds affect their growth)
Nursery
If you want to see the nursery, click anywhere on the background (anywhere outside the pot) then click on the empty circle. You'll see four icons on the bottom of the screen, click on the second icon.

Here you'll be able to:
  • safely change the design of your pots
  • buy seedlings (currently 23 different species available)
  • buy additional pots/environment (Grove & Cat House)
  • navigate to and from your original and additional pots

For now just check in to get your free seedling for the week if you haven't already received it.

To buy seedlings, just choose whichever you want to buy. (click on '-' or '+' if you want to change the quantities) Click the check icon, a web browser in the steam overlay should appear, just click on authorize and you should be able to see the seedling in your steam inventory. (You'll be able to plant them in your pot as long as you have space)
Achievements
Maturation & Flowering

Buy all the seeds that you don't already have in your pot (23 species as of this update). They won't all fit in in one pot but if you have two or more pots that should be enough. You can buy the Map to the Grove or Fish Skellie to the Cat House for additional pots. Plant all of the seedlings and log in every two or three days and do some gardening chores for a week and they will all mature. Do this for up to five weeks and all of them will have flowered.

Throwing to the Garden
The garden is imaginary. Throwing plants to the garden is just a renaming of 'delete plant'.
Achievements are available for throwing 1,10,50, and finally 100 plants thrown into the garden.
This can be done in two weeks if you have two or three pots, plant 50 succulent for the first week and throw them when they mature. Afterwards, plant another 50 and wait another week to throw them all into the garden.

Misc
Succulents mature in a week and bloom from three weeks onward. They can only die from overwatering or being parched for a long period of time (you may use the vacation mode if you'll be away for some time).

Seems like the growth of succulents will be limited if you put them close together.

Succulent flowers bloom and fall. You have to keep your succulent's flower(s) for more than a day to pop the achievement.

What did you name your pot?
You can name the snail!
Did you just overwater your plants?
Does uprooting your succulent and replanting it reset its growth?
You can get a freep map of the grove if you already own Eidolon
You can reset the game by deleting all the .dat files(5)

Additional plant status (seen while singing to the plant/snail):
  • Vibrant
  • Vital
  • Vivacious
  • Complacent
  • Imperturbable
  • Jubilant
  • Overjoyed

Is there some way to keep the pot from rotating and moving all the time??

Jerome - I see that you say plants mature in a week; is there any variable to this, ever? For example, if I don't pull weeds does it take longer? Thanks.

It might help to know that under certain conditions, you can water your plant to keep it from getting thirsty, without pushing it into 'overwatered'. If you pay careful attention to the color of your plant, you'll notice its color dulls as it nears being thirsty. Water it when its color gets dull and you can keep it sated and not have to let it get thirsty. I assume this would make for a happier plant.

Yup, it was CloudSync. Just turned it off and that fixed everything! Thanks!

In which folder were you able to see them? I have never tried resetting my pot since they implemented backups. Did you also turn off CloudSync?

Those are also .dat files, right? I'm deleting those, and I'm still getting the same pot and plant. Are there other files that need to be deleted?
Jerome  [author] 9 Sep, 2015 @ 1:37am
They recently implemented backups. Be sure that you were also able to delete the backup files.

I screwed up when making my plant and accidentally uprooted/trashed something i didn't want to trash, so I tried deleting all of the .dat files to reset the game but that isn't working, and I just go back to the same plant. What am I doing wrong?
