Most of you might think,'THERE IS NO WAY TO SKIP PRE-HARDMODE'. Well, you are wrong, there is a way...

What do you do?
Well, you start a new character (as usual).

Then start a world and enter it.

Well that is a really simple step.
Original Basics of Terraria
You chop trees down to build a house... and a bit of killing slimes.

You mine some ores...

You find some random chests and find iron/lead bars and made an anvil and then you made a furnace with the stone blocks leftover you had.

Now what?
Now make a reinforced fishing pole... yep. You are going to need it after I tell you this.

After you make the fishing pole, farm some coins (up to 50 silver coins, you know it) and build an extra room to obtain the merchant for you to buy the bug net. When you have bought the bug net... Go fetch some bait to be able to use the fishing pole.

The only problem is that you need to reach the end of either side of the map, where you mostly have to go through the crimson/corruption. If you want to become stronger, you can find an enchanted sword or arkhalis in the sword shrine (usually found in those 1 block holes that lead to this boulder with either a wood sword or a sprite of the enchanted sword) by chance or make better equipment with bars.

Final steps...
This part is difficult is because you need a bait power which is 25% which are worms (Legit is 25%). You can get worms during a rain event or break rocks (not stone). I DID not use worms to get the 'thing', I, for some reason, used a master bait to get IT and I got them from the iron crates so it was quite easy to get... Wait why did i say it was difficult... ANYways, back on track.

Once you reached the end of the map, just start fishing. It will take you quite a bit and if you have other fishing accessories (I barely even know all of them), use it immediately to improve your chances of get the 'Reaver Shark'.

Once you have caught the Reaver Shark, you can skip the pre-hardmode and start mining stuff you didn't use to do straight away, like going to 'Hell'. Now what are you waitng for? Get some obsidian and other crap to complete pre-hardmode. This is a good way to speed-run pre-hardmode.

At the end, it was worth it.
What do you think?
This was well worth it to type this up because i accidently lost the stuff to this TWICE.
I am really sorry if the guide was bad because this is my first.
If you spot random mistakes, mispelt words or grammar mistakes, you can point it out or just ignore it and read it as if it was already fixed.

I think this wraps up this guide. I hope you can end your terraria journey well with this important information.

Updates in this guide
*Re-wrote the word 'pre-hardcore' to 'pre-hardmode'.

*Added the letter 'f' after 'merchant' in this mistake: 'build an extra room to obtain the merchant or you to buy the bug net' to 'build an extra room to obtain the merchant for you to buy the bug net'.

*Added the word 'to' before the word 'do' in this mistake: 'stuff you didn't use __ do straight away' to 'stuff you didn't use to do straight away'. ("__" is the explanation of the missing word)

*Replaced the word 'ores' with 'bars' in this mistake: 'by chance or make better equipment with ores' to 'by chance or make better equipment with bars'
This last update in here before it is no longer touched again...
I will read the comments but i won't reply because its hard to control this much comments so. Thanks. My contributer 'Krunchiee' might comment at some time.

On expert getting to the ocean is also a problem in itself if you're ill equipped.
And even on expert, if we bypass the travelling with tracks for example, I find it's still definetely easier to just kill The Eater of Worlds and get the pickaxe necessary to mine hellstone.

On non expert, the travelling will be much safer therefore making this strategy more valid, rest the fact that with unlucky rolls you might end up wasting a lot of time in this. Add to that, that on non-expert bosses are just easy as hell when you know what you're doing....

meh, I wasn't lucky on the fishing, and indeed according to the wiki with 50 fishing power you have 1% chance to get a reaver, that's pretty low and with bad luck you could end up needing to cast your line upward of 300 times (also counting if you don't have the fishing test line so you could "get" a reaver at the end of the line & lose it to the line breaking)

With no fishing items (besides the fishing power information one) & the items suggested in this guide, I barely reach 50 on the best times. (morning/raining/moon)
