I would compare some aspects of the game to ETS2, just it's in space and there are people that want your cargo. Though you can choose to do other fields, exploration, mining, bounty hunting, or combine some of them together. At the moment I explore while I smuggle drugs, weapons, and slaves. The upcoming expansion I think will add landing on planets and things of that nature, have not really looked too much into it. I have only been in one actual fight that I deployed my weapons(I won), though normally I just upgrade my ships with modules suited to evade and survive and not to be scanned. At times cargo runs can feel a bit monotonous when you are grinding to get better ships or parts for your current ship. Which is true with all games, though you can always change it up what you would like to try and do, there are always jobs.

this game looks so awesome from all the screenshots you posted but how is the gameplay?
