Performance Guide

First of all, sorry for my english, not my native language!

This is a quick guide on how to improve Type 0 HD.
I'm playing on a GTX 760 at steady 30 fps, but believe me, the game is a good port and should work on almost every GPU out there (Well, must be a DX11 one of course!)

Graphic Settings
First of all, let's talk about Antialiasing:
-This is not your everyday AA settings, because it actually downsample your resolution at highest settings. Unless you got a powerful GPU, avoid this one or stick to the LOW setting, or even better, force antialising throughout the GPU control panel (i suggest Fxaa on Nvidia).
-Highest in-game AA = High GPU Usage = High temps\BAD framerate\Blurred faces
-Forced FXAA = Low GPU Usage = Low temps\30 FPS all the time!\Normal faces
Here's an example:

-NORMAL IN GAME AA

-FXAA FROM NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL

Shadow:
-There's a good difference between High Quality and Normal; i didn't notice performance drops with max setting, but GPU usage will ramp up a lot! In my opinion, stick to normal: It's hard to tell the difference during gameplay and you'll save some power.

Texture:
-Normal ALL the time. Please, DO NOT select low quality...

Motion Blur:
-Normal should be your main target, unless you want to puke all over the room...

Screen Space Shadow:
-Ambient Occlusion. Should be always active, it gives depth to ambience and shadows at nearly no cost in performance.

Local Reflection:
-It activates reflections on water and ground. Quite nice to see if you ask and not that heavy to process. ON!

Lens Flares:
-Or Bloom. This is a matter of tastes. If you don't like oversaturated lights, turn it off.

Depth of Field:
-This setting introduce the blur during cutscene, or at least, that's what i noticed. As for bloom, it's a matter of tastes. No performance hit at all!

Performance Tips
That's all you need to know. The game works flawless at 1080p\Fullscreen.
Regarding some little issues:
-It seems that GSYNC may cause some problems (Low fps\choppy movies playback). Deactivate it and you're free to go!
-The game has been updated, so, no more black tabs on the launcher or the infamous "," in language settings thing!
-Remember, In game antialiasing will be your worst enemy! If you got really LOW fps, you know where to search!

I hope this guide will be useful to everyone!

The high fps/resuolution mod is a huge improvement to the game as frankie wankie suggested.

For anyone looking to play now with a more enjoyable experience. Go to PCWIKI and get the mod that makes the game go from 30 to 120fps and allows better resolutions and FOV.

Your GPU?

I'm late to this party, however, whenever i begin to play the game, I get through the opening cutscenes and everything but then my capes ascend to the heavens, like they are being drag-stretched to the sky, while causing minor slowdown. I've done everything you listed here, though it still happens. Any advice?
