Variable Props - Parking

The parking lots in this collection have a few features that make them unique compared to many of the other parking lots on the Workshop:
  • They all have thumbnail images
  • They have some cool extra props, such as manholes, no parking signs, security shacks, and directional arrows painted on the surface.
  • They use realistic parking lot lights instead of the normal pole lights.
  • They are listed under their own tab in the Public Transport toolbar and not mixed in with all your other parks.
  • They parking lots can be mixed and matched to create parking lots of almost any size.
  • They use consistent statistics. (Construction is $50/tile, Maintenance is $0.40/tile). All other statistics (tourists, sewage, water, entertainment, etc.) are 0.

Props Required
Many of the props used with this asset are from the default library of props. However, I am also using props from the Common Props and Trees Collection and it is recommended that you subscribe to all the props in this collection. If you don't subscribe to this collection, it will still work, but there will be a few props/trees missing.

call me pedantic but how can one reach the lots behind the light? could be too difficult for the most drivers

Ok so I just decided to put my lot in the "Train Facility" and then "Large Roads" like i've done with my cargo lots, doesn't seem to be a conflict there and has generally been a good spot in the past.

yup, Im gonna ask Bloodypenguin about that though and see if he can fix it because I really want my lots in the parks menu with a roads icon. Thanks for the mod tip, Looking forward to using new hidden props! wonder why they didn't include them.

Let me guess...it messes up his Extra Landscaping mod? I've been moving my parking lots/garages to Public Transport menu in their own Parks tab, which I think is safe place.

Advanced Building Mod

It's kind of a pain to use and it will throw an error if you have the mod enabled when you load a game. But.....you can use it to place all kinds of cool hidden props into custom assets. This includes several different types of street lights, manholes, pavement arrows, prison fencing, transformer, fire hydrant, bus stops, no left turn sign, and a bunch of other things.
