love the model but in the game it is named "quantaslink" and really triggering my OCD hahaha...any chance to update that just to settle my nerves haha

Are you able to convert this to being a 'small' plane for the airports DLC?

I work on these in real life, so glad you've included them in game, thanks!

Those values are created by "trail and error" so there is no actual chart. The problem is that some combinations lead to planes just circling above the runway more often. I changed the values in 0.1 steps till the "right" distance was reached and the circling was minimized ;)

Remember that planes irl also don't use the full runway lenght - as soon as they reached VR, which is a reference speed, they start to liftoff. So it's okay if they start doing so in the middle of the runway - it doesn't depend on how long the actual runway is. Irl the takeoff run depends on weight, weatherconditions and aircraft configuration (Engine derating, flaps used) and this influences the reference speeds (V1, VR, V2) but still pilots use full throttle (or the amount of thrust FADEC allows to use in this config (95% to 99% usually).

sorry my bad...around 450/500 units is my usual runway...i just dont understand the acceleration and decceleration values in the advanced vehicles options panel...is there a chart on how those values actually translate into units and how much distance a plane needs to accelarate to lift off speed and how long it takes to deccelerate to full stop? Or should i just use your values on all of my planes since im goning for a 450 unit runway?

You can calculate it by yourself: Meters divided by 8 = 1 unit. I usally use runways which are 3500m long, so 3500 / 8 = 438u. Usually large airports use runways that long. So 900u might be a bit too long I think ;) (This would be a 7,2km runway irl). I hope this will help you :)

how many units should a runway be?...i usually go around 900 units. I would also love to hear how should i modify all of my planes using the mod that changes those values and make it so that tthe planes will use the whole runway. Oh thanks for the plane by the way!

Nope, should be fine ;) I'll provide realistic values in the descriptions by time

Do you need a longer runaway for it not to overshoot?

Ok thanks!
