Story begins with a cutscene about Terra & malevolent forces which attacked it, after that cutscene a misterious man with a sword literally falls from the skies close to Leon (you automatically unlock an achievment here), a young friendly hunter and fisherman who lives alone in the hills. Leon catches one fish and plans to take it home for dinner, then he notices the man in the ground.

They meet each other and share some words, then Leon offers the misterious guy named Alexis to go to his house which isn't too far, he accepts. Once you start heading his house you need to fight some creatures which talk, these creatures aren't powerful but can damage you, Leon is surprised as he had never seen creatures talk. When you're close to Leon's house you find a weird crystal which Leon had never seen in all the years he's been living there. Time stops for a minut and a mysterious voice talks through the crystal to Alexis, after this just head to the north and go to Leon's house.

NIght falls and after eating, you need to get a rest but you have another choice which is following Leon outside, there he wants you to fight a monster, this doesn't affect the story so it's up to you to do it nor not, this monster is a bit tough to kill so be careful. Keep in mind fighting this monster and defeating it unlocks an achievment. If you choose sleep you will wake up in the morning and have a talk to Leon. You can save your progress in crystals now.

Leon offers to take you to the northwest, and a boat to get in there with him, in your way to the small boat which is docked in the east you will have to fight a Scaava knight dressed with royal armour and a cape, this creature does not want to you pass, so you will need to defeat it (this is a must-do to continue). This enemy is a bit stronger than the others so be careful. Once you defeat this guy, head to the east and find the boat, it'll automatically take you to a town in the north.

You will arrive to this place and ask for a place to sleep, guards refuse to let you stay but once they hear the name Leon they let you through, there you will meet Edwin who is Leon's uncle (??). After having a talk you will learn a bit more about Leon, he offers you a tent to sleep while he gets you a wooden house. At the next day head to mayor's house and you will meet the grumpy Brom, who will join your team after a few words. Then Edwin tells you about soldiers from North willow who have misteriously dissapeared and wants your team to go to the forest and investigate, you will fight many enemies everywhere so be prepared, keep walking and you will find a guy who thinks you are enemies and doesn't want to let you through, so you will need to fight this guy (This is the hardest battle until here so be careful as well!). Once you defeat him you will take him as a prisoner. After this, go to the house Edwin has prepared for you and sleep.

At the next day, head to the mayor's house and go downstairs to the barracks and talk to the prisoner, his name is Tybalt, he'll automatically join your team after letting him know you aren't enemies. Go upstairs and talk to Edwin, he will let you know there's a place named Seng Port which has been taken by Valganis (enemies) and wats you to head there (however this place isn't in 1.2.4 update so you can't do this yet). After the barracks meeting there are a couple of achievments you can do with Tybalt but this isn't important at all since it will not affect the story. Now head to the southwest house which looks like a church and talk to the girl inside, she practises Sol Magia so she's kind of a which. After sharing some words she'll join your team. Her name is Francesca, you cna call her Frann.

After recruiting her go to the house between the Barracks and the mayor's house entrance, you will find thee house officer, after talking to him he'll leave and you have to pick up the keys which are somewhere inside there. Go to your house and open the locked hatch in the floor.

Once you open the locked hatch, you will be able to go to North Willow's underground, get potions, apples and stuff in the store because you'll have to face stronger enemies here. Once you go down, you will face swords and dragons everywhere so be prepared, navigating a bit through passages and you will find a witch, after talking to her, you find out she's been planning to use magic against the enemies but she wants to take Alexis as a sacrifices, he refuses and you need to fight her, use your magic against this witch because she's very clever and powerful. Once you defeat her you will unlock an achivment as well. You can also save your progress in the crystals.

Follow blood tears and you will find the most powerful enemy of the 1.2.4 update which is the bone dragon, this guy is reaaaally hard to kill and he also restores his health oftenly so be careful.
Once you defeat him he will become your 'allie' and you'll unlock another achievment.
Going out of the undergound caves leads to the forest where you met Tybalt fr the first time, get back to North Willow and save your progress, now you're supposed to head to Kiln, but this place hasn't been released yet so we shall wait.
