Hello, today I am going to teach you how to increase your FPS in CS:GO. There are many ways to do this, but today I am going to teach you simple but effective ways to boost your FPS without downloading anything fishy.

If you have a low end computer it is advised you lower you resolution, and game textures. (Dont follow this step if you have a high end PC).

How to lower your game settings and resolution is so simple, all you have to do is. Go in-game, and click options then click video settings, once you have done that you should see numbers and an x, it looks like 1920 x 1080. It could have different numbers thought, anyway you need to lower it until you find one you can play with but is not to high. I personally like 1280 x 1024.

Update your driver, if you dont drivers can get extremely outdated and not use all of your PC's processors, etc.

If you are using AMD http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/ click this and download the lastest driver.

If you are using intel, nvida, etc. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube to help you.

Type this into your 'set lauch options', -threads (number of CPU's) +fps_max 999 -nosplash -novid -+cl_updaterate 128 +cl_cmdrate 128 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +rate 128000 -high

This is a very common method, there are many different thing people tell you to type in. But this is the best and will increase your FPS by a lot.

If you can't find 'set launch options' go into your steam library, find csgo and right click on it. Once that is done you need to find properties (it is at the bottom one you right click csgo in your library). Then you should see 'set launch options' right next to greate desktop short cut. Click 'set lauch options' and type in: -threads (number of CPU's) +fps_max 999 -nosplash -novid -+cl_updaterate 128 +cl_cmdrate 128 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 +rate 128000 -high

Turn your PC's power settings to High Performance

You need to click the battery icon at the bottom right of the screen, then hit more power options and you should be able to see High performance click that then restart your computer.

Once you have done all of this, you should be reaching a much higher FPS on CS:GO.
