Before you read...
I just want to say that English isn't my mothertounge so just write a comment if something is written or explained wrong. In this game the achievements won't pop up on Steam immediately so you have to quit the game to get the achievements on steam. So don't worry if you don't get the achievements straight away!

Thank you for reading this and happy achievement hunting :)
Story Achievements
These are the achievements you unlock automatically while playing the game:

A walking stick, now that's better
At the beginning you are stumbeling around this litte beach where you have to find a walking stick to be able to walk further. From your startpoint it's leaning on your left side on a rock.

Found the Old Hermit's shack
Just go through the fencedoor (after you got the walking stick) and you'll get this one.

Started the old generator
Just start the generator on your right with the gasoline tank when you come to the first locked fence. If you don't like minigames, go to the main menu/options/game and disable them.

Found the 4 coloured spinners
Just find the coloured spinners for the puzzle

What is it with all these flashing lights?
Just solve the puzzle in the hut next to the bridge. The combination is Purple - Red - Green - Red (like in the achivement Pic)

An old dinosaur groans back into life
Just solve the flashing lights puzzle and lower the bridge.

So many gates
Solve the puzzle with the four. Find the four "Keyparts" on the fisherman's beach and use the elevator next to the doors to find the last one.

Walked on 4 beaches
I don't know exactly which beach will unlock this but just play through the game and you'll get it!

Heat and light
Solve the Candlepuzzle in McKenna's dock. It isn't really a puzzle, just find the candles and put them into the holes under the huge "Turbine" (?).
Other achievements
Some of the other achievements are missable and some depend on what playertype you are.

Sweet sweet music
Right at the beginning you will see a house with a gramophoe inside. Just remember this place and go through the next fencedoor. In the next house you'll find a not broken Disk in a drawer. Go back, play the minigame and earn the achievement. :)

Examined 25 objects
You can examine objects if you look at the thing you want to emaninate and press E or the right mouse button. This one shouldn't take long.

Examined 100 objects
It's the same like the one above. Just examine more things.

Walked a kilometre
This one will unlock automatically while walking through the game. Just be a litte patient and you'll get it.

Walked 10 kilometres
This one will take a little longer (for me it didn't pop up in the first playthrough) but I thing you'll earn it while you are searching for all the collectibles. NOTICE that you have to walk 10 kilometres in one game session!! This is really really really important because if you end the game your kilometres are back at 0.00!

You are a teenager
Just play the game one hour or let it opened for that time.

You are an adult
The same as above only with two hours

You old timer
Again the same as above just with three hours. I unlocked all in one playthrough so no need to hurry. :)

Collectible Achievements
There are three achievements where you have to collect things to earn them.

St. Brigid of Kildare
Here is a great guide for this one:

I know this isn't english but the pictures will help you finding all the 22 crosses.
By the way this one isn't from me so if it helped rate the guide itself! :)

Lay the MacLaughlins to bed

Here is a list of all five graves so that you can't miss one:

1. This one is not missable. It's next to the path on your way to the generator.

2.This grave lays next to the mechanic door on fisher's beach.

3. Number three isn't missable too. Down the elevator you find it next to one of the "keys" for the four doors.

4. This grave was the only one I missed in my first playthrough. It's on your way to the last village.

5. That one you can't miss too. It's in the middle of the last village.

Found the 5 secret postcards

Here is a list of all secret spots where the postcards are hidden:

1. This one is right at the beginning on the second beach where you see the little boy for the first time. There is a hidden path.

2.This one is located on the fisher's beach. You'll find the hidden path in front of the little wooden hut. I'm sorry for the dark screens but on number two there is a chest and don't forget the cross next to it :) .

3. The next one is hidden on the beach where you have to solve the compass puzzle. When you follow the path to the beach turn left and follow the sea.

4. This is the only one that isn't hidden in a chest. The safe is located in a hut that's easy to miss because it is hidden behind trees. It's on your path to the last village so just look close. By the way the code is 5-32-51-79 but it isn't a hard puzzle to solve.

5. The last postcard you can find on the last beach where you have to solve the puzzle to unlock the end. When you are ready with it just continue going straight and you'll find it at the end of the map behind rocks.
Thank you for reading my guide!
I hope I could help you and please give me a thumb up if you liked it. For any wishes, mistakes, bad xplinations, etc. just write a comment! :)

For walking 10 kilometres, if you quit to the main menu the counter will not reset, it only resets when you quit the game. I think the same is true for the hours played achievements, as after I unlocked the 2 hours achieve, I quit the game, re-opened the game, played for 80 minutes and the 3 hours achieve still didn't unlock. :sand:
