Levels
Know your levels! Play around in survival mode to get familiar with the locations of Oxygen and ammo. Some of the spots for these items are shared in the deathmatchs.

Some levels have good hiding spots to ambush other players, but with the current state of the game to get a higher score you will need to actively hunt players. Camping will only make you shark bait.

Dealing with Sharks
Each level comes with different species of sharks, some more aggressive and more dangerous than others. Generally in Deathmatch mode the sharks are not as aggressive as in Survival, but dont let that calm you down, they still will go after blood trails and follow you if they cross paths with you.

To dodge the sharks, be sure to always have a healthy amount of juice in your sprint bar. Depending on the direction the shark is coming at you you will want to sprint either up or down. You get the most amount of speed to avoid the bites. Regardless of your situation though, you should not stop moving. It is hard to lead shots under water and you standing still is easy picking for long range spearing.

Do not bother killing sharks unless they are a direct threat to you. Not only do they waste ammo, they will get aggro'd to you and follow you. If you are desperate for points however, go after the smaller black tips or bull sharks to net you 3 points a kill.
Weapons
As of me writing this I am only aware of 3 different weapons. ** Updated with Flashbang**

The Knife- extremely short range but with decent killing power to other players. The knife also has a quick attack speed in case you miss you can just pull a Mike myers. Do not ever attempt to murder a shark with the knife.

The Speargun- Slow to fire but has higher damage and velocity. 2 shots will kill a player. Players will also be pushed back about 5 feet when hit.

The Chaingun Speargun- Fast fire rate but lower damage and velocity. about 3 shots will kill a player. Players will also be pushed back about 2 feet when hit.

The Flash Bang- Slow to deploy which gives off a varying amount of white 'fuzz' on the screen. The effective range of the blast appears to be about 20 feet, but within that range the fuzz on the screen is normally not too bad to stop you from seeing and hitting a target within 20 feet. I do not recommend the Flash Bang because of its slow deploy and minimal affect to players.

I will always recommend going for the Chaingun due to its rapid fire action, helpful for stopping smaller sharks and puts you a step above other players with the regular Speargun.
Conclusion
I apologize if some information here is off, as I am a new player and this is my first guide. Im excited to see a modern shark hunting game on Steam and hope for more.

Thanks guys.

we should all do a deathmatch with each other:steamsalty:and have sharks on,if a bunch of people are in, we can kill each other and kill sharks, but if there is only 2 or 3 people in,we should only kill sharks because if we kill each other, when someone is murdered, another will be murdered by a shark instead of a diver:steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamsalty::steamsalty:if you want to,play NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
