Make sure it is disabled in your windows settings and enable the xbox controller support in steams controller settings.

I have the guide button disabled in game bar, and I also have Game DVR disabled. I've tried forcably disabling Game DVR through the registry. The guide button no longer activates the game bar, but Steam still won't detect any guide button presses. The guide button won't open Big Picture or the Steam Overlay (which is definitely enabled). The guide button on my Steam controller works fine, this is only happening to the guide button on my bluetooth enabled Xbox One controller. When I enable the guide button in the game bar settings, it DOES bring up the game bar, so Windows is definitely detecting it. But not Steam. Any ideas?

To get the game bar back, go to the Xbox app and enable it from the settings.

i accdently disabled this feature. and i want it to comeback. and see if i can make the recording videos feature work properly.
