Dont forget about the Stupefier (+1 Mace with low chance to stun) sitting upstairs in a locked nightstand in the Burning Wizard (Beregost). Viconia loves it.

never sell the ring of wizardry. so many magic spells especially after level 3. you notice the difference having double the spell slots for level 1 spells. Sleep, charm person, identify, armor, color spray. the list goes on. it is one of the most useful items in game. i have $20,000 gold right now and i didnt have to sell that ring. it is way more useful than the measly wand that i can buy easily and find in other maps.

Make a "charismatic" (18 charisma) thief with 60-65 open locks. and talk to the nobles in candlekeep library at the start of the game and then go loot chest upstairs to find the equivalent of 2750 GP once you resell the gems

The list is nice, but far from being complete, e.g. there's a diamond hidden in the treehole, a few steps south from where you meet Montaron & Xzar. It's a good money boost at the beginning of the game, and especially if you plan to keep Ring of Wizardry found in Friendly Arms Inn area shortly after.

Why no one talks about Driizt items...
Two map below high bay, minimum level 5 required.
Loot Icingdeath +3, give TACO and AC +3, you can stack them with ng+.

You don't need that much magic missiles anyway. For the ring you can buy a wand with 20 charges which will be more useful. It would be awesome if bards could use it though.

The ring of wizardry in the friendly amn inn , right when you get there dont move! stop and think about the location and proceed to the right edge of the map till you see a tree and rock that dont match the pines , move the hand slowy in the base area of the tree and rock and you have it. 9000 gp worth

There are no hints for these in the game. Just think of it as a sort of reward for exploring off the beaten path.

I dont think so. In the original BG it is as cheating.
