I'm just advocating for a simpler solution so you can get better at the game already having all the tools. It's a no brainer to run around the map with a knife to get zeds in a convenient line after you. Why die on level 0 when you have more chances to live on level 6? All those bonuses stack up.
Please restate your point with the focus being more towards your original argument.
It is a mild exploit that the game allows. A mod is not a cheat/exploit.
One can set up through mods for the game to spawn only slow walking clot zeds alike in old Romero movies, boost their health to immense level and let the game spawn hundreds of them on the map. The game allows that. It is a feature. It is a challenge of its own, see Contagion, Project Zomboid and the likes. Whether its whitelisted is another question.
How good one is at the game? The more hours the merrier. I see no connection to the level gimmick.
Players who have perks maxed out, have head start over everyone else due to the perk effects and the free weapon given away right away.
I would have stated that if I wanted to encourage people to cheat.
