Challenges are unlocked once you reach mastery rank 30.

Every hour a new challenge unlocks, in the challenge it says the biome. every new challenge theres a random biome you need to do dungeons in to get points for rewards

In every new challenge theres 2 bonus classes. this is random for every player. this is how points work, if you do a dungeon with a non bonus class and below uber 5 you get one point. if you do a dungeon with a bonus class in a world below uber 5 you get 3 points, if you do a dungeon in uber 5 with a non bonus class you get 3 point per, bonus class uber 5 gives you 9 points per dungeon, uber 6 non bonus class gives you 9 points per dungeon, and uber 6 bonus class gives you 27 points per dungeon.

Theres 4 tiers of the challenge, first tier requires you to get 10 points. once you reach 10 point you get 2 neon caches and the second tier unlocks. second tier you need to get 40 points for 2 neon caches. third tier you need to get 100 points for 3 neon caches, and fourth tier you need 300 points for another 3 neon caches. the challenge has a time limit of 20 minutes. so you have to get all of those in 20 minutes. in total you can get 10 neon caches in 20 minutes.

Neon caches can give you neon souls which you consume for epic dragons. thats the main reason people do the challenges but they also give eyes of qbthulhu and flux.
