General Tips
This guide assumes that you are familiar with the general mission progression in Super Chibi Knight, as well as most of the XP bag locations. For more info on the XP bags, see here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=471586527
This guide is for the Beastmaster path.

This achievement requires patience and a perfect playthrough. The game autosaves as soon as you die, so there is no real way to cheat it. There are, however, some tricks you can use to your advantage:

-Pause Quit. While SCK may autosave after a death, you can still prevent this if you are quick enough. If you are low on life or about to drop into spikes/lava, just pause and then force quit the game. The death will be skipped and you will simply warp back to your previous autosave.

-Beast Armor Refill. When summoning a beast, your current health becomes their health. When that health runs out, however, the beast disappears and your regular health is refilled. As long as you have a source of magic you can use this trick to refill your health when needed.

Other things to keep in mind:
- Make use of checkpoints to warp out and refill your life
- Try to maintain a 2:1 armor to weapon level balance
Oukoku
Beginning
To make this playthrough easier you'll want to level up your character traits asap. Especially your armor. Right off the bat you can collect four XP bags- one in the ceiling of the old man's house, and three sitting near the upper left and middle right of the world map. (See the XP bag guide for more information)

Before starting any game quests I aim for level 4 armor, level 2 sword.

Once you have a few levels I suggest starting with the wasp quest. This ensures you have an infinite source of life refills from the butcher in town. Don't forget to grab the flask while you're in town as well.

Afterwards, complete the manna orbs quest for another quick XP bag from the fountain spirit. A level 2-3 weapon should cut through all of these enemies pretty easily.

As you complete the manna orb quest make sure to see Glitch and his brother in the south desert to pick up the dash and charge attack skills.

Lastly, grab three glowflies from the forest. Don't bother with the actual glowfly quest though- not worth the time required. Just grab 3 for later in the game. You are now ready for the pit.

The Pit
This is the first area of the game where death is a real risk. It may even be the hardest, considering the two jump dashes that are needed.

Start by falling in and hugging the left wall. You should fall past the slime cannons without getting hit. Take your time killing the worms as your progress downward. Save your charge shots for hitting the switches. When you come to the elevator platform don't forget that you can hold down to deflect any projectiles that approach you. Just make sure you keep alternating your direction to face them.

When you come to the first spike pit, make sure you JUMP before attempting to air dash across. If you feel for any reason you've flubbed the input make sure to pause IMMEDIATELY and make use of the Pause Quit trick.

Continue downward. If you take a hit or two from a worm or the vampire don't worry too much. Don't forget to grab the hidden xp bag on the way down. In the room with the the last switch make sure to hold down so you can view the platform's location. I tend to dash off of the platform to make sure I clear the spikes, but a regular jump should be fine.

When you reach the checkpoint, warp back out and refill at the butcher if you've taken ANY damage. This will become a common tactic in future levels.

When you enter the crab fight, start by jump dashing over to the middle platform. You know how this boss works, so just be patient when moving the rocks. Be VERY careful not to move twitchily, as it's very easy to input an accidental dash and fall straight into the spikes. If the boss grabs you it's not a huge deal, as you can always fall back to the middle platform. In fact I'd say it's better to take damage from the boss than attempt to jump to another platform to dodge. If it's the worst case scenario and you find yourself falling toward the pit, try to mash out a Pause Quit. As a complete fail safe try to fall into the crab- you'll take damage but gain temporary invincibility from the spikes. Enough time for a Pause Quit.

After defeating the crab, return the boy home and head into the basement to receive your spin attack and another XP bag.

Getting the Bird Key
After the pit you'll be heading to the red cave towards the east. The enemies shouldn't be a concern at this point. To defeat the fire-tossing wolf(?) just chase him down as he backs away. As always, you can deflect projectiles if need be. The easiest way to defeat the boss is to simply get in his face immediately. Jump as you first approach, just in case he throw an axe. Other than that, just be wary of his jump attack. It can hit you on the way up if you are too close, so get in a few attacks and back away a bit. Also make sure to jump as he touches the ground so you avoid the shockwave (dustcloud?) part of the attack.

Next up is the alien ship located just a ways south in the desert. Like before, these enemies shouldn't be much of an issue. Make use of charge attacks to take care of the spitting enemies up high. Unlike the last area, you'll need to defeat a miniboss before getting the checkpoint. This is the first of many guardian bosses. They all function essentially the same- They run in a slightly random pattern and attack at somewhat regular intervals. Stay up high and wait for him to come to you. As soon as he swings, if he is in range, get in a couple of sword spin attacks and then move out of range. Always safer to wait if you think the attack is coming.

As always, use the checkpoint to leave and refill your health if need be. The next boss is also fairly easy as long as you stay on the high ground toward the right. When he approaches jump out for a few spin attacks. If you hit right it should really only take 2-3 tries to finish him. If the enemies become overwhelming you can clear some out, but don't focus on them too much.

Take the blood mixture back to town to finish the quest and obtain the Bird Key. There is last XP bag you can now obtain on the world map with your enhanced sword. (Western Desert)

Phoenix Tower
This is another area that's pretty straightforward if you take your time. There are two XP bags hidden in the walls here that you should pick up. Use your dash to move in/out of range of the spikes quickly, and attempt to deflect or jump around the fireballs on the final moving platform if you can. As usual, a checkpoint is available before the boss. This boss is another guardian. He's even easier than the rest because as you attack him you can climb up the platforms and juggle him continually upward. It should only take two combos to defeat him.

Set the birds free, go refill your life, and then find them on the map and defeat them. This should be incredibly easy after everything else you've done up to this point.

That's it for Oukoku- take the eggs to the gate and continue to Chapter 2, the Yajuu Mountains.

Yajuu Mountains
Mountain Path
Grab your Gallo beast and head down the mountain path. You'll need Gallo to float down through the first area. It has some spiky paths but the hitbox while riding your beast is pretty forgiving. I've definitely had my head graze by the upper spikes without getting hurt. If you take damage your beast will disappear so just do a Pause Quit to get out safely.

The next area just requires some timed jumps on Gallo to cross. Don't bother fighting the rock monster. Chances are you'll take a hit no matter what so just keep moving.

After this is another area with a few jumps and some lava spurts. Be careful, because the lava is an insta-kill. If you're on your beast you'll be able to sustain an extra hit. Again, I recommend skipping or floating past the enemies when possible. After the last lava spurt you can jump from the top and float to the left to easily clear the goat man.

The last area is very easy as long as you don't trigger the switch or attack any of the explosive boxes. There is one goat man near the end- I think I fought this one, but you should still be able to float past if you want. Depends where he ends up moving to.

Mountain Village
If you took some damage coming down the mountain, don't worry, The first thing you should do is collect the 3 easy XP bags. On top of the arena, on top of the famer's house, and to the left of the magic springs. Between these three bags you should have enough for an armor upgrade, which will refill your life. If not, just make use of the Beast Armor Refill trick.

All you really need to do in the village is defeat the two beasts in the Arena. After that you can obtain the Hebi and you'll be on your way out of the Mountain.

I recommend starting with Ivan Dragon. This is the only other point in the game where I consider death a true threat. Make sure you use Gallo to make it easier to float and navigate between the platforms. Generally you'll want to stay up high, but watch out for the spikes in the ceiling as well. If you're knocked off of your beast or are in danger of falling then doing a Pause Quit is crucial. It's not really worth trying to avoid the dragon's attack- just float near his head and mash the attack button. 2-3 appearances should be all it takes to defeat him.

Baxter has no instant-death traps, but navigating around the spike rocks can be a little tedious. You can only damage Baxter by launching the rocks back at him. Don't forget that you can also turn the switches off if you need to move around the platforms without being launched in the air yourself. Take your time and it won't be a problem.

After the Arena, talk to the characters in the beast cave to receive your Suino and Buffo. Use them to cross the avalanche section. You'll need special level 5 to be able to summon each beast back to back. Summon Suino IMMEDIATELY after entering the second avalanche section, because the falling rocks can kill you very fast. Continue to the chained Hebi. Be patient when navigating the platforms and striking the locks. After he's free you only need one charge shot to tame him. This part is kind of random. I prefer to stay in one place and let him come to me. If you take too many hits you can do a Beast Armor Refill, or just Pause Quit and come back.

After you get the Hebi you may need to leave and re-enter his area to refill your magic. Then you can cross back over the avalanche section. Make sure to do a Beast Armor Refill if you need (you may have to backtrack to an earlier mountain level). When your life is full head to the south and take the door back to Oukoku.
Oukoku and the Dark Gate
The Phoenixes

You'll now be back in Oukoku with full health and magic. If you ever run out of magic you can refill at the town's well. (One of the few places not destroyed)

The phoenix fight is much easier if you equip Buffo and simply jump attack them over and over. They're invincible when they use their fire attack so just keep your distance. Grab the gate key, refill your magic again, and head toward the dark gate. If you're low on health at this point I suggest using the Beast Armor Refill, then refilling your magic one last time at the well.

The Dark Gate

Past the dark gate are a series of levels that involve defeating a bunch of enemies to obtain a gate key. Use the Hebi to make this almost trivial. The biggest threat in these sections is the fire-breathing dragons, as the flames do quite a bit of damage. If you've made it this far you shouldn't have too much trouble in these areas. Just remember the basics- be patient.

Once you pass the lava bridge it will be much harder to refill your magic anymore since you need hebi to get back across. Worst case scenario you can grind the first enemies in a section until they drop a magic refill.

Lastly, just be careful when descending into the lower areas to defeat these enemies. It's easy to get rushed if you drop into the middle without looking.

In the last section youi'll encounter a gate that is unlocked by three glowflies. Hopefully you kept a few, as was indicated earlier in the guide. You can go in here to grab another XP bag and more importantly, refill your health and magic.

With full magic I think it's easiest to just equip Hebi to destroy the knight's chains. Refill your magic before talking to him. Then go back, speak with him, trigger the boss cutscene, and continue.

Monocchio

The first form of the boss can be cheesed out with a little bit of luck and positioning. It's not too hard to dodge its attacks; just stay away. Get in a few stray hits when you can, but the easiest way is to try to trap him at the top after he does his palm attack. With the right timing you can drain almost an entire life bar from him. If you keep him up there long enough he will default to a different attack that would normally occur down below. Dodge, run back, and try to keep him up at the top again. You shouldn't have any real trouble, and if you do just make use of a Pause Quit.

The final section of the game involves taking out the boss's heart. Again, this is pretty easy with the Hebi. Progress through this area carefully, avoiding the projectiles. Don't jump on Hebi just yet, because he makes it hard to navigate the re-appearing blocks. You may have to equip him early though just so you can fly up to the ledge that moves you into the last area. (we skipped the upward strike, which would normally take you up there). However, a well-timed jump dash will also get you over.

When you make it into the final room just stay back and shoot fireballs slightly down to the right. Pay attention for any enemies that approach and blast them away with a couple of shots. If you lose Hebi just go for a pause quit, as the frustration of trying to defeat the heart without the upward strike isn't worth it.

Congratulations! You now have the Insanity achievement.

I don't know if there's still anyone here but I want to say that if you choose Bella as your name you'll start the game with fully upgraded armor, sword, and magic. Maybe it will help someone.
