Top Score - Rules and Regulations
Just rack em up and add em up.

Round 1
Check out my posted overall score (screenshot below.)
Open Pool Nation and look at your overall score. If your overall score is already greater than mine, then you may move, directly, on to Round 2.
If your score is smaller than mine, then start playing pool. Any game, anywhere, any style, as long as you're adding to your overall score. Once you have beaten my overall score, you may move on to Round 2.

Round 2
Keep playing pool. Any game, anywhere, any style, as long as you're adding to your overall score. Yeah, I know, that's what you did in Round 1, but you are playing against each others' overall scores, now, so the $hit starts getting a little more real.
Post your overall high score(s) entry on or before the deadline of August 22nd, 2015. (See, Post Your Entry Here, for posting directions.)

The Main Event: 8 Ball Pool Tourney - Rules and Regulations
You know you can take this loser.

The Match
Open Pool Nation.
Visit the Sky Lounge (in single player) and play 8 ball against Vlad Molotov.
Win the match (which must include a 2 ball streak, and a 3 ball streak.)
Take a screenshot of your win.
Check your total Vlad-match score against my posted total Vlad-match score (see screenshot, below.)
If your score beats my score, it is a valid Vlad entry and you may move on to Post Your Entry Here.
If it doesn't, then try, try again, until it does. Once you've beaten me, you may move on to Posting Your Entry.
At the end of the tournament, the player with the highest posted valid score, will be declared The Grand Prize Winner!!!

Q: May I use the novice aids?
A: Why not? I did. This is very much a novice tournament. However, you may play with the novice aids off, if you prefer. Just play your best game.

Q: So, technically, all skill levels can enter? What about pool sharks, then?
A: Well, where there's water, there's sharks, I suppose. But, as long as they aren't sharkdicks, we should be alright.

Q: Must I submit 2 screenshots?
A: Of course not, but being able to post a second shot, is like getting a second chance to beat the highest scorer, you silly billy.

Q: Am I supposed to wait until Aug. 1st before I select a tournament?
A: Heck, no! Start playing now, you just cannot start posting entries until August 1st.

If anyone still has questions, please post them here . We will do our best to answer them, promptly.

Misc. & Etc.
In the event of identical scores being posted, the earliest posted valid entry will be declared The Winner.
In the event of any other discrepancies, the decision of the judges (me, Tank, and Jimmy "Kid" Jimminy) will be final.
And, of course, as usual, GWG - The Game Orphanage will NOT be responsible for anything that goes wrong.

Posting Your Entry
Now this is where it gets tricky.

Enter your score by posting* your screenshot entries on Steam, and putting the link in the comment box of THIS POST, ONLY. (That means DO NOT post entries anywhere else but the comment section, below. They will not be counted, otherwise.)

Top Score entries: Play as much as you want, to build your overall score, but you may only post/link 2 screenshot entries.

8 Ball entries: You may play as many matches against Vlad as you wish, but you may only post/link 2 screenshot entries.

Entries may be posted anytime during the official tournament dates of midnight August 1st until midnight August 22nd. Deleting a screenshot entry and posting another, is forbidden. Once posted/linked it becomes official. Posting a screenshot entry taken prior to July 21, 2015 is also forbidden. (We will be keeping tabs on all entries.. not that we don't trust you, or anything..)
At the conclusion of the tournament, the player with the highest Vlad-match score will be the 8 Ball Grand Prize winner, and the player with the highest overall score will be the Top Score winner . Should there be identical winning scores posted in either competitions, the earliest posted entry will be declared the winner.

*Please, keep in mind that any player with a higher Vlad-match score, or overall score, than mine, may post that score as his/her entry.. However, if the entry being posted is not a better score than the highest ranking entry already posted, at that time, then said entry will, obviously, be a wasted entry. (Really, it makes sense, just let it sink in for a minute or two.)
Also, strategically speaking, posting both of your best scores too early in the competition locks you into those scores, giving other players the chance to better you.
In other words, spread them out a bit... but don't wait too long, either.
Lastly, if you are playing for top score, you may not want to use the replay function as, I believe, you'll lose any points you may have racked up in previous attempts. It's probably safer to go back a step and play again from there.
