South Mauritius

This is a detailed map of the southern part of Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 2,000 kilometres (1,200 mi) off the southeast coast of the African continent.

• Outside connections for all transport types
  
• Road network based on a real road map
  
• Train network based on a historic map[commons.wikimedia.org]
  
• Starting tile with highway roundabout and train tracks

Note that the starting tile is only connected with a 1-lane highway (highway ramps). There is a 3-lane highway in the center of the map.

There are lots of fertile land, but only few ore and oil resources.


Of course, you can build a city like on any other map. But I also designed a challenge for you:

The government ordered you to build a coastal road and a train connection. Only unlock the tiles which are required to do that, so the route can be finished as soon as possible! Populate the newly accessed areas. Only use small and medium roads or highway ramps!
